if i leave his side at all he gets mad...if my phone rings he ask me who it is the second i answer it ......if i get a text he ask who its from every time...i have never cheated on him at all so why is he acting like this ?? he used to be so great and now im about to leave him its gotten so bad but i really love him ...i have talked to him and he says he will change every time but he never does...what should i do??

honestly, girl to girl, you need to tell him you need space. he is getting on your nerves and although you love him, he needs to give you space. space never hurts and actually it is great for the body. dont worry, space is all you really need. when was the last time you hung out with your girlfriends?! best of luck!!

Not to say that this is the norm but those are so sure fire signs of future abuse. First they want to know everything where you are at all times what your doing who your with. and then they talk down to you and the next step is making it impossible for you to leave. Like I said this isnt always the norm but I have been in 1 abusive relationship that started that way and have heard of many others.

I know it probably drives you nuts right now, but in a way aren't you happy? At least you know he cares, and that he's possessive (I see it as a good thing) you know he doesn't want to share you...
If you were to do this to him though, how would/does he act? If he gets upset then you should be questioning him (is he cheating/hiding something from you) or does he answer without getting upset?

It sounds like your boyfriend is controlling you. He probally doesn't trust you enough. Try and talk to him about this again one more time, explain to him how you feel, is he not trusting you. If he tells you that he trust you then tell him if you trust me then why are you acting like this. Tell him that you are serious and that you feel unhappy and sooner or later if he doesnt change you'll have no choice but to leave him. Goodluck, hope this works out.

Invent a second boyfriend (or find a real one) and tell your first boyfriend that all your phone calls, texts etc. are from the second one.

You should leave him, because obviously he has cheated on you. That's the only reason he is soooo insecure. I wouldn't waste too much more time with him, move on!

He probably thinks that you are cheating on him. In a situation like this, you have to prove to him that you aren't cheating. However, make sure that when you prove him wrong, don't go too hard on him. Guys hate it when you nag them.

but if you really love him, then for cris sake beat some sense into him. (if he isn't controlling, then the reason he's so protective is that he thinks that someone will snatch you away. he probably can't believe that you chose him out of over 3 billion dudes in the world)

Hi is possessive and controlling and this will not change and usually gets worse. you need to run now while you can. leave him as soon as you can. no kidding... it will only get worse. good luck.
