Singles & Dating - 10 November 2006

i work at resturant & out of no where a fellow male co worker and i started to show interest in eachother. we then continued to start hooking up for a couple of weeks. we both were into eachother but i knew he liked me more then physically but whenever i confronted him about it, he got a little stand-offish. so then a few nights later i got invited out but two other male co workers (both know the guy i am with and are buddies with him) i had a great time, drank some, and ended up 'leaving with one of them'. all we did was kiss, i was drunk, who cares. so then OF COURSE the next day i get a voice mail from my hook-up saying he knows what happened the other night and he cancels out plans for that night. MIND YOU, if he wasnt that it to me, why would he care so much? so then we dont speak for a couple days then the following day we kinda started to flirt again he seemed cool and all was good. then last night as i am working he comes strolling in with 2 girls and ignores me. what the hell?

im confused he is always bothering my closest friends [saying hi to them, hitting them playfully] but i thought we had something going on, i mean we flirt but we both seem nervous when we do it. What do you think?

do you guys ever look in the mirror and see things you dont want to see? like you notice the imperfections and think your ugly but then helluh other people are like "ugly, are you kidding?!!?" thats excatly how i feel. like its weird.. in the mirror i dont like how i look but other people do. do you guys have the same problem? is this normal? sorry, im just a clueless teenager >__<

This guy that I've been dating over a year, told me not too long ago that he had "fooled" around with another girl when he first met me. He told me that it was very early when he first met me & our relationship wasn't serious yet. So why would he come out & tell me now, 8 months after the fact? Had it been bugging him? When he told me, I got upset, kinda crying & asking why,& hopefully that didn't scare him to think that he can never be honest with me because of the way I reacted. What do you think?

Ive been with my bf for a year & am in love with him. The thing is, we have been having trouble with our sex life which is making both of us miserable. We use to have sex all the time, now we barely have sex once a week. We're both in our 20s. I seem to be the one turned off right now (hes not
) & its ruining our relationship. When I talk to my male friends online for long periods he gets jealous & asks if im cheating on him or talking to my "boyfriend". He says he does this bc he feels with the lack of sex he assumes Im interested in someone else. Im not. its causing him to tweak over the smallest things lately. Tonight I worked late and wasnt able to call him until late at night(4 hrs after i said I would), and he got annoyed, saying how unconsiderate I was. I love him but he is acting like a whiney ***** lately. Im afraid my lack of interest & his jealousy in response is going to make me break up with him. Me and my GF have been dating for about a month when she told me she kisses her (male) friends hi and good-bye on the lips. she told me its just the way she is and its nto a big deal. and that i'm not gonna change her and if i loved her it woudn't be a big deal. and also that her ex didn't think its a big deal. anyway after a night of arguing about it that ended in her ahging up on me, then next day we talked and she said she woudln't kiss her friends anymore. my questions are
1) does anyone agree with her thinking its not a big deal?
2) is taht normal
3) am i out of line for telling her to stop
4) can i trust her?
5) i don't know if i can get over the fact she's been doing it for a month. it really bothers me. should i for get about it since she didn't think it was a big deal and said she would stop?

I had recently posted a question about me liking my guyfriend. I wanted to know if should stay out of love life so I wouldn't mess it up. He just told me that he and his girlfriend broke up. I thought about our previous conversation when I told him that I like him as more than a friend. I said that I wanted him to leave her and he said if that's what I really wanted and it would make me happy then he would. I feel bad, but I doubt that it was because of me. He said he didn't want to talk anymore about it. My other friend said that it might be a chance that him and I make a connection on prom since he did ask me while he was with her. We had feelings for each other, but I guess friendship had its own rules. What should I do? Should I take advantage of this or leave to work out on its own?

well i went out with this girl for a yr it was very serious. got her a promise ring we were about to move in together last sept. we were like best friends for 9 months before we went out. but when we started going out it became a long dist relationship. we went out in aug 05 and talked on the phone just about every night for hours. met up again in dec, march...had sex three times, may.. went to the beach etc, and june...beach etc. so end of july we start arguing and stuff and she says bc of that and her family life...her dad was cheating on her mom, he said he was gonna take off, she was about to get her own apt, she said she needed a break from us.
of course im devastated. and two days later she tells melast may/june she started having thoughts in her head like "omg im with the guy im gonna be with forever..this is it..and im about to move in with him...this is it...i wontever be single again" and she said shes really never been on her own, always from one relationship to another

I like this boy who is very shy around most people, but never around me. He's nice, funny, and smart. I think he likes me too, because he was very comfortable with me from the beginning and flirts with me a lot. He hasn't ever had a girlfriend, just like I haven't had a boyfriend.
