im confused he is always bothering my closest friends [saying hi to them, hitting them playfully] but i thought we had something going on, i mean we flirt but we both seem nervous when we do it. What do you think?

I think he is trying to make you actually come out and talk to him and tell him you like him. the way he is flirting with other girls and letting you see is a way to make you jealous and make you want to talk to him more. that may be his way of trying to not talk to you first if you both are nervous. go up to him and let him know how u feel.
