I've had a guy try to rape me about five years ago. I'm finally getting over it and moving on. WhenI meet a guy, would it be better to hide it until later (as in a year or two) or tell him within the first month or two? please. I need help.

My Ex-Girlfriend and I broke up 2 months ago cause of a long distance relationship. Prior to that we broke 4 or 5 times( in a four year span) cause I did something stupid. And usually I'll go back on my hands and knees begging her back. But the last time we were face to face we didnt argue or fight. Everything was good except she said she wanted me closer to her we talked about marriage and starting a family. I miss her like crazy should I call her even though she has someone new? We havent had any contact in months. If I do call her what do I say?

What I am not understanding is why tell me the truth after all those months of lying to me. Then he asked me "Where do we go from here?" He said, he wanted to come home with me and that he knew that he broke that trust and that if it took the rest of his life to prove to me that I could once again trust him he would do that because he said he loved me. I would have never found out about any of these lies and I can't help but wonder if he told me because he was deploying to Iraq. I am so lost and I don't know what to believe anymore.

I dated a guy that I met on line for 9ish months and, after numerous lies, I found out he is very married with two children and broke it off. To this day, he continues to deny being married (although he just bought a new house with his wife).

Although I am not a vindictive nor revengeful, and hope that someday he'll be able to work things out with his family, I am wondering whether I should call and tell his wife that he has an ad posted on a personals site and marked as single? I spoke to a few people whose spouses left for someone else, and they all said that they wish someone told them earlier.

My heart would break to have to call her to tell her this, however, I can't help but think how this selfish act hurts his family.

I am gay, but very bored/disillusioned with gay men. I will probably never have a partner because gay men usually bug me -- even though I myself am gay! (Believe me, this is not uncommon.) Should I try dating women?

I've known this guy for 6 years. We have been in and out of touch for those 6 years. I remember what we did then and what we talk about now. It sounds as if he is ready to settle down, but he acts as if he is weighing his options(what options I don't know). I am a unique woman. There is none other like me, so why does he feel he has to put me to the test to see if I'm the best? I waited before, but I'm not waiting anymore, How do I know if he is the one? Do I wait again or just keep movin' on. Although I know I will choose what is best for me it's always great to know someone is listening and on your side at times. Answers are greatly appreciated and read.

First of all, let me clarify: "available," as it applies here, means: She is single and has the TIME and DESIRE to date.

I don't know if it's just where I live, or if it's like this everywhere, but finding single adult women who are available seems virtually impossible, especially with the thirtysomething crowd.

Seems like too many women have their plate too full already and don't have room or time for a man. Most single women I know of are juggling a full time job (maybe even two), college, and children, and maybe other activities in addition. They don't have TIME to blow their own nose, let alone have the time, energy, or desire to date.

How and where the heck are we men supposed to meet women who are available? (besides online date sites)

Does a fit body really matter? nice eyes? big package? a guy with money? Why be shallow ladies?

Since my last gf, my first love, I've had about 4 girls at different times come up to me and express an interest in me. And so each time, I have hit it off with all of them. We talk for hours and really have a good time. Then we go out on a few dates. Everything is going great. Then out of the blue, each comes up with the excuse that they aren't ready for a relationship, and I'm left wondering why. I treated them all great, and I didn't press for anything more. I was just following their lead; I can't stress that enough. I'm 18, so I'm wondering is this common in girls 16-18? I feel so down and depressed because I'm tired of being led on like this, only to have my heart broken. I know guys my age aren't supposed to be so emotional, but my self-esteem now is shot.

Just a reminder. These are all separate occasions over the past two months. I would never go with two at the same time. Thank you for any help! I need it.

I like strong women with dominate personalities. I have resolved that the best way to find someone who fits this catigory is to let them ask me out, setting the relationship in the right direction. However I am unsure of how to let someone know of my interest without saying it or being obvious about it. I get asked out by men occasionally I just need to make women ask me out instead.

So when you think of irish people do you think of little short people in green hats or do you think of them as being part of one of the strongest economies in the world? (We were once the leading computer software exporter in the world, now we're second).

I'm just curious, because most Americans have this (literal) perception, which results in a lot of Irish people thinking that they're idiots.
