Your relationship has the possibility of being one of great frustration and unhappiness if you two do not come to an understanding. Should you decide to marry him and go childless you may feel a great emptiness in your life down the road (I say MAY because this is not necessarily so), and should he bow to your wishes and father children he has no real desire for he may end up unhappy and your children will definately suffer for this. Sometimes men change once a child comes along and they become very loving and caring fathers, but are you willing to chance this at the possible expense of your children? Allow him to talk about his feelings when he is comfortable doing so. There is no need to hurry. And make sure that he honestly listens to you and your feelings. If you really love this guy and he loves you, you are both very fortunate. Good luck!

how old are you? Let me just say that guys are a one minded kind of species. They cant take in too much all at once. The fact that you said that you would like to have kids SOMEDAY does not register with him. What registers is KIDS. i think he just got freaked out because he didn't take the time to actually consider what you said. At the same time though there could be deeper issues that he hasn't expressed with you when it comes to the whole children thing. Maybe you need to talk to him and let him know that you didnt mean TODAY. then see how he reacts. If he still reacts bad ask him why.

He probably got annoyed because he is just your boyfriend. So the idea of kids might scare him because of commitment. Also he might still be thinking of the lifetime commitment a child brings. The costs of just raising a baby can be frighting and then the thought of raising it through the rest of life, plus after the child moves out on his/her own, you still are the fall back to all financial/life problems. So the idea of children is a very intimidating subject, and i can see why he might want to change the subject

Maybe, he's not in a position to even think about the possibility of having kids one day. Do you really even think he is the one you would want to have kids with oneday? Kids are a huge responsibiity. That might be to heavy a subject for now with your boyfriend.

all it means is he is not ready now..... talking about kids causes a mysterious sickness called * cold feet* in guys.... even when they are grown and say they want kids, most of them get realy scared when the time comes..... and some honestly do not want kids....... you got into his space with that topic..... wait awhile and bring it up again, this time be subtle and kool and non-chalant about it....... see how reacts then...... and then after about another month or so be direct and up front and just ask him, * do you want kids ? at a later date that is !!!! *...... most men have to be handled with kid gloves on this subject...... He does not want to have children, not in the foreseeable future anyway. Maybe he thinks you are coming on too strong. If you wanted him to be the daddy you best start looking elsewhere.

to dam bad tell him to scratch his a--! What is it w/ you woman-don't you know you should be treated like a queen if you don't get treated like a queen-or yes honey anything you want-then out they go-with the trash-took me along time too-now i get what ever it is that i want-trick is self confidence act like you own the world or your man in your case and you will have it-kids the whit picket fence and all-trust me
