First of all, let me clarify: "available," as it applies here, means: She is single and has the TIME and DESIRE to date.
I don't know if it's just where I live, or if it's like this everywhere, but finding single adult women who are available seems virtually impossible, especially with the thirtysomething crowd.
Seems like too many women have their plate too full already and don't have room or time for a man. Most single women I know of are juggling a full time job (maybe even two), college, and children, and maybe other activities in addition. They don't have TIME to blow their own nose, let alone have the time, energy, or desire to date.
How and where the heck are we men supposed to meet women who are available? (besides online date sites)

i know how u feel, I too am single and finding some one around my age which is 32, is like looking for a niddle in a haystack. sometimes you just have to pray, close your eyes and jump who knows what u might land on, it could be rocks or the love of your life. also get out some, don't go to bars you'll only find trouble there. but get with some friends, they know people who know people who know people . good luck, cause us 30 something people really need it. lord knows i do.

My brother you are right on all counts, so here's my advice to you. Date women between 21-27 tops. Young women are usually not settled into a career yet so they have time to party and still have a desire to try new things before cashing in their chips. Like you said, the 30 something crowd of women are either married, focused on their career and have no time for anyone, or have been doing ti for so long by themselves they feel they don't need a man in their lives to do anything they can't do for themselves, overly independant. Hang out at college bars, gyms, and take a stab at speed dating. What have you got to lose?

Sorry but its all about online dating now, I'm in my 30s and I'm, you guessed it, way too busy to meet men anywhere else. I have a little time for the actual guy but not for trying to find him via endlessly hanging out in various places. I also don't have time to deal with hangovers so I don't even go to bars! Have you tried the laundromat or grocery store?
If you're in a big city you have another option - speed dating. I love it, but I live in a smaller city now and they don't have it. I used to live in San Francisco and that is one of the best ways to meet people there.

Well you could (if you don't have one already) get a job, enroll in college classes, join a gym, find a church in your area to attend. Take up a new hobby, learn a new sport. Get a dog and walk the dog where females congregate. You're not going to find someone to date sitting on your behind in front of a computer monitor.

join a club, like a gym theres tons of woman at gyms,also sign up for some classes that interest you and you might meet someone with the same interest as you,for instance photography or dancing type classes woman love to dance?

come on-if a woman wants to hook up with you-she won't let that (busy stuff) get in the way-you must be asking the wrong woman out--go to happy hour after work- blind dates-take a class @ your local university in something that interests you-woman love a smart guy-and it doesn't matter how old you are
