When a man is in his 20s/30s and thinking of settling down in the near future, does he change his criterias when looking for a girlfriend as compared to when he's younger/different to someone who is not into marriage yet? Will he, instead of looking for someone who catches their heart, go for someone who matches his criteria for a prospective wife first b4 thinking abt chemistry? Anyway what's the SG guys' ideal of a wife-to-be? Decent, docile, demure, long hair, OL dressing, not wild, not loud, not overly funky? just curious as i always tend to hv that kinda impression..Tell me i'm wrong guys ha!

my friends in london and i cant keep my mind off him at all... he mite be busy adjusting but i havnt heard from him since lik 8 to 9 days... i knw thts not more... but be4 he left we always used to be on msgs throughout the day.... since then there hasnt been a day passin by when i dont wait for his reply... i already sent him mails from my side... this waiting process is killing me... i knw i try n get busy.. but the habit never goes...

i just keep missing my BF... i really cant do anything without thinking of him.. he calls me many many times, but even though i keep missing him... we dont go out alot, coz our full time at work but we keep in touch by phone and SMS 's ... what shall i do to stop missing? or is it normal to miss someone that much ???

Basic scenerio is, we are 38 weeks pregnant and assuming she doesn't go into labor any earlier, our child will be born on Thursday. I have fallen in love with a girl who is kind, honest and beautiful but she is in love with another. I blame myself for how I feel and it is definately not her fault as she has been wonderful to me and never misled me. I have female friends but can't make up feelings for them I don't have. I just don't want to feel like this again. In the past I try to do lots of voluntary work so I dont need someone to love me but I still get hurt. I am a strong guy in other ways. How do I keep a cold heart when I feel I have so much love to give?

OK... here goes.

I posted a question a while ago and tried to be friends with my ex. We were together for 6 months. And I love him dearly.
I have a great friendship with him and we always have lots of fun. We laugh , and get along so great. We have great chemistry and overall a really good relationship.
I was the one who broke it off, cause at the time I needed space and was starting a new career and trying to get my life on the right track.

I dated around and had some free time to myself and got things orgainized in my life. Im at a point were I want to be , but I still don't think he's at that point with me.

I recently went out with him and things started up again, but I don't know if I want to be his girlfriend. I like spending time with him and I told him it doesn't mean we are back together. And I cannot take a step back to where we were before.

I do love him, but I don't know if Im in love with him.

Should I continue or what should I do? Stay or end it?

I truely and honestly love her. We have known eachother for over 11 years now and went out for 1. She has this problem with making everything my fault. We broke up last because I decided to go home instead of fight infront of my friends. She then went out with one of the neighbors. She writes to me talking about how she needs me and then next minute she attacks me and tells me that I am a pitiful worthless person but returns only to tell me that she is sorry and wants me to still stick around. People are pretty damn shallow when it comes to relationships. Most people will deny this vehemently, but we all know deep down that we judge people based on their appearance every single day of our life.

I mean you can deny it, you can disagree with me or say I'm stereotyping or even that there isn't anything wrong with being shallow. But that doesn't change the fact that most people are shallow.

It isn't just men either, women are just as shallow as men are. Infact, women on the whole might even be more shallow than men because they can get away with being more selective. Most women say they want a nice guy and most guys say they want a smart or caring woman, but when you get down to it only a nice appearance really turns heads.

What explains this?

Ok so im 21 and ive struggled with this problem like many other people so im hoping somebody will be able to lend some advice here goes. theres a girl i work with that recently grabbed my attention. My best friend (a girl) for no real reason decided to paint my nails purple and pink (I'm a guy) yesterday. Why the hell? Then again, I'm not complaining, I got to hold her hand. Also we are kind of goth so she's getting me black polish tomorow, lol.
