What do a man look for in a girl if he's of the marriageable age (& thinking of marriage too)?

When a man is in his 20s/30s and thinking of settling down in the near future, does he change his criterias when looking for a girlfriend as compared to when he's younger/different to someone who is not into marriage yet? Will he, instead of looking for someone who catches their heart, go for someone who matches his criteria for a prospective wife first b4 thinking abt chemistry? Anyway what's the SG guys' ideal of a wife-to-be? Decent, docile, demure, long hair, OL dressing, not wild, not loud, not overly funky? just curious as i always tend to hv that kinda impression..Tell me i'm wrong guys ha!

A guy wants a woman who will love him for himself. Forever is a long time to pretend to be someone you're not. Also someone dynamic, who can adapt to new situations and environments. Life can keep you guessing and a man needs to know that he's got a woman who can be an asset to him in ANY situation. Also loyalty plays a big role. A man wants to know that his wife won't cheat on him or leave him for for a better guy.

From a woman's point of view, I think they are looking for a girl who is honest, sincere, loving, kind, a good cook, or at least willing to learn to be a good cook. A tidy person. I'm not sure about appearance. On the one hand, he'd like to have an attractive wife; on the other, if his wife was not so attractive, other men would be less likely to be hitting on her. He's probably more concerned about her ability to attend to his needs. Men think like that. After all, the Bible says that women were created to be a help-mate to a man. Maybe you should think along those lines.

I think you will find it has nothing to do with ''westerners'' or trying to please them. I do not know about your previous question but what I can tell you is the legal age for marriage in many Muslim countries... Algeria Male 21 female 18 Tunisia Male 20 female 17 Morocco and Turkey Male and Female both 18 To list a few, however in many Muslim and NON Muslim countries it is permitted below the age of 17. Missouri and Hawaii Male 18 female 15 Scotland both 16 New Zealand, Australia, Maine, Kentucky and many others male 18 female 16. And yes in Iran it is male 15 and female 13, Afghanistan Male 18 female 14. So as you can see Muslim or non Muslim countries all have different legal ages to marry. We are Muslim and what Allah (swt) permits is the most important but we have also to live within the boundaries of the law in land, whatever land that maybe. Paedophilia is the sexual attraction to prepubescent children, as we know in Islam the female/male has to have reached puberty hence she/he is not repeat NOT prepubescent ergo it is nothing to do with paedophilia. PS in Indiana, Arizona, Minnesota, Missouri all can legally marry at 15 with parental consent. And in New Hampshire a girl between 13 and 17 can marry a male between the ages of 14 and 17 with parental consent.

what i think that he may change his criteria in some cases.
between 20-25, he is going for someone who attracts him n always want to marry that kinda girl. but in he may go for if in case he has been in love with some girl n she betrayed him.
and some guys also luvs flirting with this kinds of gals but always marries a gal like u.
