I have fallen in love with a girl who is kind, honest and beautiful but she is in love with another. I blame myself for how I feel and it is definately not her fault as she has been wonderful to me and never misled me. I have female friends but can't make up feelings for them I don't have. I just don't want to feel like this again. In the past I try to do lots of voluntary work so I dont need someone to love me but I still get hurt. I am a strong guy in other ways. How do I keep a cold heart when I feel I have so much love to give?
Please don't tell me to mend my heart and to feel diffirent in time.
I need to keep it cold so tell me how, please.

Hi. You can't keep a cold heart in a warm soul. It just won't work. No matter how indifferent and uncaring you try to be, that deep inner love you have will shine through. You hurt so badly because you love so honestly. Like an angel, you weep because others can not see the beauty that you see. I know you very well. You should listen to what I am saying. If you try to be what you are not, you will never be what you can become.

My advice is "don't do it". I know what being cold at heart felt like. I had a relationship long ago, my ex was worried I may leave for another girl, so i maintained a cold heart to other girls. I was wrong to do this, my feelings n emotions got worst over time. Even the next relationship I had suffered over this. Cold heart hurts and takes a long time to heal. Don't make the same mistake i did.

Please move-on enjoy life pick up some friends you like to be with. Friends come and go, some stay for a while and true friends will stay for a lifetime. Your love will come in time.
The girl has fallen in love with another for you when your love comes yours will be forever.
You sound like a great guy with plenty of love to share for a lifetime.
Don't worry about your heart. Feed your mind too this will help your goals in life...

When you harbour anger in your heart, the only person who stays unhappy is yourself. Why destroy your own mental state of health over a girl who doesn't feel for you in the first place? Continue with your voluntary work, but this time do it because you sincerely want to spread love and joy to others around you. Do it and love will find your way some day. Good luck!

if you keep a cold heart then you will always be alone. nobody likes the feeling of not being loved back so i guess your just like everyone else on the planet. you gotta take your chances like the rest of us. if u feel u have so much love to give then just wait till u find someone that wants it and give your heart away then.

I don't think you trying to harden your heart is going to help.
You can't stop love from happening nor can you quick fix a broken heart.I would do what you've done in the past find something to keep your mind off anything that deals with relationships.

There really is no way to stay cold unless you block them out. I've only ever done that once, and it was to my ex after he really hurt me. I couldn't stand to talk to him though. If you want to be cold that's your choice, but don't let yourself fall so far that you won't be able to climb back up when you find someone that is really special to you. I wish you the best. I have been there. Leave yourself some options. Don't try to heal your broken heart, but don't try to "not heal" either. A cold heart can mean a cold life.
