I dont really know why but i get REALLY upset (to the point of crying, then depression, then anger) when I think about my boyfriend being with any other woman-mostly the women hes already been with. He has "been with" five other women, 4 out of the 5 were whores( or what i would define them as). Two times he has slept with them on the first date-when he barely even knew them. It makes me sick to think that the guy i love has been with ho's, esp when i lost my virginity to him (3 months into dating). Like I waited for someone special, and i didnt find out about his past until after the fact. I know there is nothing he or I can do about it now, but it still bothers me so much. I tried talking to him once, but he got mad and even made me more upset by saying he slept with them bc they were "sexy" (ive seen pictures....NOT sexy) and he said never regrets anything hes done.i just need to know how i can get over this.we have been going out more than a yr but i still get sick over it pls help

My boyfriend of a few years (we live as husband and wife) has changed his affection and attitude toward me since I've gained some weight (about 20 pounds). I'm not happy with it either and am trying to get it off, it's just not that easy once you hit 40. I truly feel as though he's not attracted to me anymore. The passion is not there like it used to be and he's not as affectionate as he used to be. We just got in a fight and he left because I wanted to go out and he didn't. Petty to me, nothing to argue over, but he blew up and left. That was 2 days ago and I haven't heard from him since. I think it was more than the fact that he didn't want to go out, I didn't raise my voice or anything. We used to have a perfect relationship for the most part and always did things together but recently he doesn't want to go with me anywhere. I love him dearly but if my weight is what has changed us, I can eliminate that problem & and get rid of him altogether if he's that shallow!!

If you met the partner of your dreams and (s)he lived at 400 miles away, would you move if it meant having to start up a new business in an area you knew little about...and leaving behind family and friends (if the partner was unable to move to live with you)?
Or would you just forget about it and hope to meet someone else eventually? My business used to be the only thing that was important to me and I'm terrified of putting anything else first, especially a relationship, in particular as it may mean having to leave behind a successful business in someone else's care

A few months ago I met this guy. After talking for a while he told me that he was married. Well I am also married but it is on the rocks. After finding this out I decided that we could be friends. So we talk and hang out from time to time. The more we hung out together the more i started getting closer. Which I think was the same for him. So I decided to try and pull away. But my feelings for him still grew. I know his relationship is not great but I don't want to become a homewrecker. I want to keep talking to him but I am sure it will lead to a deadend. So what should I do?

Okay, so I just found out I am pregnant. I am kinda freakin out, but excited too. When I told my fiance, he was okay with it ... not exactly happy, but just okay. But this morning, he started yelling at me saying I am not thinking about what I am gonna do (as far as when the baby comes).. and how it's gonna effect my life.. But my point is, he is angry, and taking it out on me. I know he has a lot of stress on his shoulders right now, but why is he freaking out on me. I do too. Has anyone else had a similar problem?

Basically, my bf and i were together for 4 years, we came to Uni together, and he got really taken up in the whole uni life and dumped me, and i found out he was sleeping with another girl. This really cut me up, i was down for months, then Christmas came and I decided i needed to pick myself up. I met another guy at xmas and we started going out. He's perfect, really sweet and lovely. But 2 weeks ago, I felt so strongly in my heart that i was ment to be back with my ex. So I talked to my ex and we decided we both wanted to give it another shot. so i dumped my bf, and went back to ex, expecting everything to be perfect, but it wasn't. So i explained to my ex that it doesn't feel quite right, and we decided to leave it but hang out and see what happens (we're not together atm) but the 2nd guy is still saying he wants me back. I know he'd treat me better, but i think i'm still in love with my 1st bf, or maybe im just hanging onto memories? I don't know what to do, any advice? Thank you:)

I saw an episode of Independent Lens on PBS recently. It was on Rap Music (which I'm not a fan of). However, it posed an interesting idea as it relates to rappers and the mindset that you have to be "hard" to the world in order to be taken seriously, in order to be taken as a man.
That made me wonder, what do other cultures think "being a man" is? What do I think? What do you fine people on YA think? Does society value certain traits that you don't?

basically, me ex is asking what's going on in my life and not in a bad way. We have come to terms with each other and still care a lot for the other. We have two kids together.
