It means he wants to have sex with you and thinks the only way you will agree is if he tells you he loves you. He's full of it.

Sex and love are seperate.
However, love includes respect and consideration. Being considerate is a small way to show you do love the person. Making a commitment is about being monogomous, UNLESS its an open relationship, mutually agreed upon and/or you sleep around together, but never nehind ones back. He is one of many people (women included) who are unable to commit, at least for now. It dosnet matterif you call it maturity, being a man, human, whatever, this person isnt ready for a realtionship. People like this should just stay single. There are far enough people out there willing to have sex without the commitment, that there is no reason or excuse to drag someone down. There are alot of sluts. And not all men cheat, just like not all women sit at home waiting for their men to come home to eat the dinner they cooked for them. It is better to be single then to add a burden to your life...Im sure you have enough already.

Sounds like he loves you as a person, but he is not in love with you. He is not really ready for settling down. If this is not the kind of relationship you want I suggest getting out of it and let him do what ever. I would move on.

This suggests to me a lack of commitment. Having said that, there are people who are into having an open relationship.

For me personally though, I'll go with the first thing I mentioned. I expect the person I am with to be 100% mine and not want to be with other people. If they insisted on it then, there is no room for them in my life.

Men who think love and sex are two different things do not love deeply. I would leave him, because he's taking advantage of you. Don't be gullible enough to believe him.

Then he doesn't love you deep enough he just loves the idea of you being around for him to fall back on because if he knew that you didn't approve he'd respect that by either being monogamous with you or by letting you go and finding someone who would.

I would think he doesn't love you but is saying so he can have sex with you and the others. Also, by saying this, when he can't get it somewhere else he can always come to you. Dump the bum. He's just looking for steady nookie.

That he is both insensitive and unable to commit to monogomy. He wants his cake and eat it too. If he truly loved you, sex with you would be enough to more than satisfy his needs!

Love and sex have nothing to do with each other if you are a man.

if he truely loves you he would be willing to stop seeing other women. sex is sex only when neither people want love. when love is brought into the equation then the desire to have sex with anyone else should end.
