i have a baby from a previous relationship that has my ex's surname. i am now expecting another baby from my new partner, can i change my first babies name. the babies father has weekly contact but i worry about having two babies with different names. any advice please.

Has anyone ever been in this situation and how do you handle it? Basically my son is not accepting him (even though he said he'll try and be nice to him) but my son keeps his distance even though my Fiance' does nice things for him. My son is a pretty nice and mellow kid; however, he's still not nice to my Fiance' and now it's causing fights between us and I don't want to take sides because instinctively I want my son to be happy. But I want to hear from different perspectives.

hi . I lost a bet to a girl from my school and now she gets to choose my punishment. She wants me to go online and ask random people what they think she should do to me. She wants me to tell you that she wants to do the most disgusting nasty thing possible to me because I am a pathetic loser according to her, so what is your opinion?

For reference, the bet i lost was a wrestling match even tho i cheated by punching her boob and giving her a swirlie!

He was sentenced 3 days ago, and is going to be in there for about 6 months or less (hopefully) for doing a stupid B & E. I love him very much and miss him so damn much, we've been together for 6 years. Is it possible that I could go into a depression? I cried every night he was gone, and wake up thinking about him and start crying more. I know he's thinking about me just as much as I am and hurts even more. I know 6 months isn't a very long time, but we can't even stay away from each another for more than a week. We are together everyday pretty much.

Is this healthy? or should I just give it time to get used to the idea that I won't be able to see him everyday or talk to him. Geez, I feel like breaking down right now... answers from woman who know what I'm going throught would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

My step-son will cry for no reason and we know he is really sensitive. We think it is because his mother treats him like an infant when he is with her. Like when he leaves our house after the weekend he will start crying on his way out the door and his mom thinks we did something to him. At Christmas he told us he didn't want to leave his step-brothers and started crying and she thought it was because he missed her. What can we do to help him? What if something is wrong at his house and he wont tell us?

If you had a teenage party at your home and some kids left drunk (you didnt really know they were drunk or didnt see them leave) and were killed in an accident, and the poilce asked you what your kid was doing and you knew they were drinking, would you turn them in? She is the wife of my hubby's friend. I got married a year ago and met her soon after. Almost immediately she started to exhibit signs of extreme jealousy and competitiveness. Before our marriage my hubby would eat at their place often and it seems she could not bear to cut off her apron strings to him. She wasnt happy he was engaged to me.
She quickly redecorated her place to get an exact living room set like ours (complete with potpourri and other misc items I had arranged) (we were setting up our place then), beat me to hosting a dinner I was planning for our common friends that i told her about, lied that my husband used to flirt with a girl at her flat before marriage, barged into my kitchen and criticised my ginger tea and my cooking in general, claims stronger ties of friendship to my in-laws and hubby's friends than she actually has, bought the exact clothes, shades and other things from stores where I shop, to top it off, is boastful, manipulative and plays mind games!

My boyfriend left monday for 6-months deployment. It take s4 weeks for a package to get to him. I am going to put together a package for v-day soon for him. I need to ides of what to send him. They don't have much room to put things and any items have to be non-perishable. Thanks.

Me and my boyf have a real passionate relationship..well we did...and we also argue about silly things too. Last night we had a big argument (over text message) and he called me some really horrible names which hes never really done b4..so i called him some back. i also said in anger i dont want to be with someone like him anymore..also that his things are here

I dont even want to end it with him, but now hes acting real stubborn, sayin he doesnt wana talk about it, and how soon can he get his things from my house..hes avoiding my texes that say "can we work this out" and i told him i dont want to finish with him, and he says that its obvious that i do want to finish with him.

hes ignorin me right now, and i feel hurt cos i really like him but i cant get through to him. what should i do? i'm not gonna beg and hes avoiding the Q about workin it out as thought hes not ruling it out.

I have been with my boyfriend for 4 months and i was just recently diagnosed with anxiety. I have feelings that I have fallen out of love with him and that is the last thing that I want. I want to be in love with him again and I dont know if i am convincing myself to be with him or I am convining myself that I am out of love with him. I still trust him, am attracted to him and still try and make him happy eg, cooking dinners, cleaning the house, doing his laundry while he is at work etc.....Would I still be doing this if I wasnt in love with him, how do you know you are not in love with someone anymore. He is the only one I want for the rest of my life and I dont know how to get that. I feel as ease when him and I talk about it cause he makes me feel comfortable with everything that is happening. Does anyone out there have any suggestions?

This is the first normal/drama-free relationship I have ever been in and the last one I want to be in too...

Been unemployed for too long - drained my savings accounts and just receive a chek every other week from unemployment doesn't cut my 1/2 of the bills. Got a lead on a job making a little more than unemployment gives me, BUT not close to what I was previously making, My fiance is all over me saying I need 2 or 3 total jobs cuz of the debt I am in - he's been paying everything for 3 months but asks every month what i can pay, which is usually nothing or $100.00 - did NOT get this job yet and seems not to be happy I want it for the salary amount --what to do?

My current IT-Position of almost 6-years now is not so sure anymore because of outsourcing in my department. Its pretty certain that by the end of year, I may be un-employed. So, I decided to continue my education in the field I love the most, the "Law" I'm 25-years old, married w/2 kids and have been working at this well paying job that I HATE so much only because I liked having my own independence and it paid the bills. Trying to juggle several responsibilities and go back to school is not easy but I do the best I can & sometimes ask my husband & my boss for help or certain accommodations in-order to maintain my responsibilities as well as do what I can in order to continue school. And all I get from them is reminders of what my primary concerns should be....work, kids, taking care of the house, tending to my husbands needs, not to mention I take my grandma to dialysis 3-times a week during my lunch hour and breaks, I pick her up & drop her off. All this negativity is killing me!!..
