Me and my boyf have a real passionate relationship..well we did...and we also argue about silly things too. Last night we had a big argument (over text message) and he called me some really horrible names which hes never really done b4..so i called him some back. i also said in anger i dont want to be with someone like him anymore..also that his things are here
I dont even want to end it with him, but now hes acting real stubborn, sayin he doesnt wana talk about it, and how soon can he get his things from my house..hes avoiding my texes that say "can we work this out" and i told him i dont want to finish with him, and he says that its obvious that i do want to finish with him.
hes ignorin me right now, and i feel hurt cos i really like him but i cant get through to him. what should i do? i'm not gonna beg and hes avoiding the Q about workin it out as thought hes not ruling it out.
Hes also sorta possessive over me, & a month ago i wanted space and he refused 2 give me any.help!

i did what eat_fish told me to do...
i sent him a msg saying: "if u want to ignore me, i take it as ur not beother..why should i be with someone who doesnt want me...i'm staying over at a friends for a few nights, and when your things are back i'll contact you"
low and behold
he texed back 2secs after sayin "oh we can work it out cos i love you"

Call his bluff. Tell him to come and get his things. Put them outside so you don't have to deal with him. I'll bet he starts backing up.

You say he's sorta possessive of you. Rather i think he's VERY possessive. Why i say this, is simply because of the game he's playing by ignoring you. That's a form of control. If he won't give you any space then i'd run away from him so fast it would make his head spin.
Imagine what it would be like if you were actually married to this jerk! You wouldn't be allowed to do anything without his permission. He thinks he own's you now, and it's only because you let him do this to you.
Take total control of this situation and tell him to stfu, tell him to do as he's told and things will work out just fine. He'll come crawling on his hands and knees begging to come back, cause sissy boy's like that kind of treatment. LOL

Have a little pride and stop asking him to come back. It seems that you only want space when it's on your terms, and now that he's out of the picture, you're almost begging for him to come back.
Give it a week without contact and see where it goes from there.

Yes you do know what to do. only you do not want to so you are looking for an easy way out. This guy is trying to control you and it is working very well. he won't speak to you so you back down and beg to him to come back and eventually he does after you have learn ed your lesson (sound familiar) he knows what buttons to push to make you walk, talk, sing , dance to his whims, How does it feel to be on his hook, You really need to look at your part in this relationship and see what it is doing to you. My suggestion is to go and talk to a councillor immediately, And if you first thought is its not that bad you are making excuses for him one more time and just proved what I said

awww girl i feel your pain cuz i really liked my boyfriend too but i couldn't be with someone that talks disrespectfully to me so that is y i broke it off but once i did it i realize that i really wanted to be with him and when i told him he did the same thing your ex did he keep ignoring me and telling me we don't have anything to talk about anymore and it really hurts cuz i care about him but i guess the best thing to do is to move on cuz there is no need trying to be with someone who doesn't want to be with you . thanks for tell me to real your question it help me alot let me know that im not the only one out there going to a bad break up we will get over it with time. Keep your head up girl!!!!!!

move on, you can find a guy that will treat you better than that and not call you names. A relationship should not be so hard, it should be fun, yours doesn't sound like fun. Time to cut your losses and move on.
