It seems to be a trend these days to send out "Newsletters" in leiu of cards, etc on the holidays. Typically they detail the persons accomplishments, throw in a few "challenges" that were easily overcome (adds authenticity to the newsletter), and some nice acceptable hopes for the future. What do you think of these??? Do you find them nothing more than family "propaganda".....a way to sugar coat everyone's life and make things look rosy. I mean has anyone ever sent one out that dealt with real issues like bankruptcy, sexual problems, substance abuse, etc.........

My boyfreind dumped me around 2 months ago and I am still sad about it. He wasn't going to until I kinda forced him and was like what is wrong. It toke him forever to do it. I feel that he was the problem not me. He did not even wanna take me out to eat. He still hasn't talked to me since then and at the time acted like he would. I just feel still confused cause how can you love someone so much and then they just push you off when they are the one you can't trust. It is kinda hard now since it is christmas too.

She is 51 (but looks 40) but 51 bumps plus 3 for luck will be a lot of bumps...


For the non Brits bumps is where you grab their hands and feet and lift them up in the air while counting the amount of bumps for their birthday one....two...threee..until 51 then 1 for luck 2 for luck 3 for luck....

it happens that 2 or 3 people talk to me at the same time one is my momin law and the others r equally imp. like my aunt in law or my sister in law. i usually try to give importance to my mom in law but it might offend others. iam tired of shifting my eyes and concentration from one to the other.how can i deal wid this without having to tell them to talk one at a time.the older ladies are 60 and 60 +.

Yeah, we all want friends with benefits but what about when one of you wants more or if you see your friend with someone else and you have a lot of feelings for them...

I personally don't like friends with benefits...if that comes up, then I tell them, I rather have you as a friend and not a lover...

I met a boy andwe talked om the phone for 2 weeks and when ifinally got to see him againwehad sex thenwe had sex again the next time we saw each other. But the conversations we had togather was beatiful but then we stoped talking beccasue he said he got locked up he called me twice after that then i never heard or saw him again. i said i hate him with all of my heart but there is still a possibilty that i am pregnant and i still think about him all day i even see him in my dreams and we are so happy togather some nigthts i pray to God that i see and get to talk to him again. I dont now what to do should i go after him or just let him be, even though I said i hate him i think i'm falling in love with someone who is not here.

I am in 6th grade, very quiet, love animals, reading, people, music and sports...
Everyone ignores me! When I go somewhere people just I guess forget I am there! I have been at the same church since grade 2 and everyone has ignored me! In my choir I have 1 friend but she came to me first. In swim team everyone insists on going ahead of me in the lane! How do I help this? It is so hard for me to talk to anyone and i feel so stupid. I want to be normal but I don't know what to say so I can be a normal girl. I am homeschooled and I have a pet rat, is that making things worse? Please help!!!!
I live in the suburbs. Across the street there is a very annoying 8th grade girl. i have tr ied to make friends wiht her but it didn't turn out well at all.
Also I lost my 2 best friends recently, that doesn't help.

I just discovered (by snooping)that my daughter failed all of her classes in her first semester at college this fall. She just told me yesterday that she had 2 B's and a C. I am certain that she has told me a number of lies in recent months. I also found muscle relaxers in her drawer. I don't know whether to confront her today-2 days before Christmas-or wait until after the holiday. I though of putting a note on the grade report from her school like "I have seen this. We must talk NOW". I realize this is very serious, but I don't know where to begin. I don't want to push her to do something (else) stupid.
