The answer is not easy because it can go either way. In simple terms, there are tons of books, movies and personal experiences that will tell you that wanting more from a friendship can truly work out. That your motive is pure to truly win their heart for the good of the relationship and a future together. Sure, in that sense, it can work out.
On the other hand, it could all crumble if you are not truly yourself. I lost someone dear to me over this mistake of wanting to "win" him. Pushing ahead for all the wrong reasons and in the end, losing what you wanted so badly.

In all the best relationships, friendship is key, but love is a special, if you mean can you manipulate someone into loving you that is low. If it is gonna happen it has to be natural, trying to make someone love you is going to end up hurting one or both of you.

Once again men do not have friends that are female, only women they would like to go to bed with.
