I'm looking for serious answers here. Nothing along the lines of "duh" or "of course".

I'm just wondering, because I haven't been able to find a woman who thinks that it's important for a man to live his life with integrity. Most women that I know think that it's great when a man is unfaithful, lazy, bullying, and dishonest in general. They view him as being a "bad boy" who has "edge" and is a "challenge".

On the other hand, a man who is confident, mentally and physically healthy, a community leader, intelligent, romantic, honest, and would be a devoted husband and father, is seen as "boring" and "too nice".

Why is this? Do these women have low self-esteem and think that they don't deserve better . . . or, do men of integrity have to start being losers in order for women to appreciate them?

Ok the secret is out, everyone knows women love having a second check and milking men out of 18 years of his checks....I have seen women HUNT men with good paying jobs just to have his kids. I see them all the time unemployed or working some min wage job, driving new cars and a back seat full of kids driving over Grandmas house so they can go party.

Don't you have any shame what so ever?

No children: what am I "in for"?
Does having children change the character of a person? Or do certain people of a certain character decide not to have children. I am contemplating on whether having children is a good choice. I believe it it not mandatory to have children and also that it doesn't fulfill any ideal to have children. Considering the state of society now, I can not imagine rearing up children in this society that seems to progressively become laxer in values. I also think bringing up children is not so easy any more. I do not think it selfish not to have children. And the religious ideas of a "good woman" becomes a mother is not for everyone. Hedonism is thoughtless way to squander time and that isn't a reason to not have children.

Ultimately I fear that I may miss out on great blessings, and other such invaluable sharing of one's life..Any thoughts/opinions?

is it wrong for me to want my 16 year old grandson to work a few hours on my friends habitate home? i feel that he will gain some experience and besides it is too many young men that don't want to do anything and besides he need to lose some weight and earn credits for college he is mad for me makeing him do this for a couple of hours for a couple of day's

I know that it is tough on you nowadays and there is so much pressure put on you to have sex, drink alcohol, smoke, take drugs, etc..When you do talk to your parents about what you're facing, they get upset & start yelling at you. You have to realize though that your parents were also once teenagers and have made stupid mistakes in their lives. Your parents do have your best interest at heart and have more experience in life than you do. You may not see that now, but wait until you start having kids of your own, then you will appreciate the sacrifices your parents had made.

My dad wants me to keep a secret. He's gay and has a bf named charles,that i love and consider to b like my other dad. But awhile back i walked in on my real dad having sex with this other guy thts like my age(Im 15) Now i dont know what to do bc my dad made me promise not to tell charles. But idk if i can keep the secret bc i love charles and i dont wanna hurt him. but im afraid tht if i tell charles will he'll get made and call the cops on my dad cuz the other guy wasnt 18.ive kept the secret for like 2 months now but yesterday i walked in on them again. and now i think the solution to my problem is to kill myself... i cuz i seriously cant take it anymore. Have you ever had a fight with your significant other and are convinced that everything was your fault, so you apologize? But when you talk to others about it, you realize that it wasn't really all your fault?

What do you do about it then?

I decided to let it go ...

My boyfriend and I had a fight lastnight. We've been together for almost 10 months and this was our second biggest fight. We're in our early 20s and I still feel pretty new at this serious relationship stuff. The fight is resolved, but then I couldn't stop thinking about it. So I asked a couple friends. They said it wasn't really my fault to begin with. One says sorry no matter because she loves him too much to let him go. Another is married and said we all go through fights. It's normal. You just atleast have to let them know how you feel. I did.

I realized that I feel like I'm acting like a brat when I'm not and I don't believe myself... So I just believe HIM instead and what he tells me. Weird, I know. : /
