So my fiance messed up my birthday. He waited until the night before my birthday to purchase me tickets online for a Broadway show, and it turned out, they were sold out. Then, he said, instead, we'll take a trip to Boston for a weekend. Great idea, right? I thought so.

The problem is, he's waiting for test results that will come in on Dec. 15th to find out if he's able to keep the job he has. If he passes, and he keeps the job, we go to Boston. If not, no trip. So I didn't get a present. 50/50 chance either way.

His defense is that he's very stressed out over his job. Understandable! However, my stance is that he knew his job stuff before my birthday, so he should've chosen something other than the night before to buy my present. I've also given him plenty of ideas, including perfume, bath and body stuff, clothing, purses, etc., that will cost FAR less money.

I'm not concerned about the material goods, at all. I just feel like he messed up. Do I have a right to be mad?

One of the guys living in my apartment, named Jack, shares his room with another guy. His girlfirend, Tabitha, comes over every weekend and they camp out in the living room of our apartment and take it over like its their own room. The worst part is that Jack moves his bed into the living room, and they sleep out there, and do god know what else. It makes me uncomfortable and I don't think its fair. Am I being unreasonable, or is my roommate (Jack) acting inappropriate?

I think I've had sex, because I did bleed. But I never orgasmed. The guy was inside me. Does that count as having sex?

I am a 35 year old stay at home mom. I am not a party animal and never have been. My BF, also my chlidrens father, has social anxiety and has no desire to go out and do anything fun. He is 30. Im sick of staying home. I usually go out with a girlfriend of mine every other month. I usually have a really good time. I am beginning to make friends and having an adult social life. I am meeting men and women.......nothing sexual. I am exposed to various types of bands, art, and trendy little bars. Im thinking once a week is good to get out of the house. What do you guys think?

Look, I admit i have jelousy issues. Im working hard to get rid of it. Now my question is, if you go to a strip club are you looking to have a good time with your buddies and drinking some beer or are you guys fantacizing about these girls. Or when you watch porn, is it really to learn new positions or to again fantasize? now if you really want to help me, have u been in the same situation w/a girl and did she get over it or not?

My power was out for about 36 hours and I have 3 girls ages 7, 6, and 2. We are fortunate enough to have a gas stove and I was able to keep our home heated but, I keep thinking of others (the ones that had NO source of heat) and wonder what they did or are doing to keep warm. Also... my daughters and I had a very pleasant time without the distractions of television or radio. We had a REALLY nice time. Now that the power is back on they seem to be fighting like cats and dogs. This helped me realize that technology has taken away from family. Does anyone else feel the same?

This applies to all relationships; friends, sisters, and most especially wives. If not, then what do you consider as the primary pet peeve of men in women.

I was in a relationship for 4 years with a guy who was great. We did everything together and then I got pregnant. He said we would do this together and not to worry about a thing. I continued to work and he found a better job that was 2 hours outside of where we live(we live in seperate houses but the same city). He was by my side throughout my pregnancy, bought her clothes and everything. But after she was born, a rift between us began to grow. He started to spend more time at work, while I took care of our baby. He eventually moved in an apartment in the city 2 hours away from us and started to visit less frequently. Then around a month ago, he stopped calling. Our last conversation was bittersweet but actions speak so much louder than words. Last night was the last straw. I called "block" and his female best friend answered the phone saying he wasn't around. When I called back later, the phone was cut off. It doesn't take a genius to recognize game. Now I just want to move on. HELP!

"Till death do us part" is a vow not many people will stick to these days and if they do it is far from uncommon to engage in such things as threesomes, swinging or simply do what modern day therapists call "spicing up your sexlife".

What vow do you think should be kept in marriage or what vow should be added to the existing ones??

I have just come back from Australia with my elder daughter.
(We were there for my brothers wedding)
We loved it so much that after my daughter finishes Uni she will be moving out there to live.
My 20 year old son is at Uni but has his career as a teacher to find out where he will settle.
My younger daughter of 14 is still in school >
So what i want to do is move to Australia when my youngest daughters education has finished.
But my wife of 23 years does not in any circumstances want to move to
Australia.

My heart is with my wife but my head says Australia is
my future and i should go there.

I know you can't help me decide but
What would you do if you was in this situation????

I won't go into the tiny details, but child services, youth services, MHMR (mental health mental retartation), home advocates that visit, phycologists, shrinks, pills, judge, fines, police. basically everybody involved. Yesterday my 'good' girl(have 3, 14-15) didn't like to be kept from friend b/c of skipping school, so she fought with husband IN spegetti sauce in kitchen (don't ask) then she started stabbing leather, damaging walls, spraying clothes with clorine, we're still finding out what she did. We called state police, nothing, we called crisis hotline.. nothing we didn't ALREADY know. We are at WITS END! We want them gone. SO, when it's legal (and not abandonment) has anyone done this and was is at all successful? and if it was, what did you do?!? Please, help! The police/state troops like to scare, but they seem not be able to do a darn thing! Oh, and juvi court is a joke too.
