How do I move on and appreciate all that is around me when all I feel inside me is emptiness. It's like I am always looking for something and yet I couldn't find it in my work, my husband, most especially not in my family...I am thinking it must be my life and my family background. I never enjoyed my childhood and most of the time it was full of criticism and hatred..I call it the disfunctional family. I don't know where to gather and pull my strength and drive...please help...

My wife refuses to haves sex with me. She says she can't enjoy it with the thought of getting pregnant again going through her mind during intercourse. We have three kids now and don't plan to have more. We were using condoms until she decided to not have sex anymore. She thinks that because she gave me three kids i owe her to get a vasectomy so we wont have to worry about this anymore. I'm only 25 yrs old and am not sure if i want to get one right now. Should i do it?

You see her as your girlfriend and wanna take things to the next level. She realizes your feelings for her. But just doesnt want u to keep waiting around for her. Because shes scared that if the the whole girfriend thing doesnt work out that she will loose the person that most important to her. How could i convince her otherwise????

My Boyfriend and i have lined together for 5 years and we have always have a "volitile" relationship. We have never cheated or anything and he used to tell me all the time (the first3 years) he wanted nothhing more tan to marry me. now he is in an more stable financial situatio n, but he had built more and more of a resistance to the idea. The worst part is i do not nag about it or anything but he is still like, um mabye in a few more years... I am 24 and would like t o start planning a family sometime before 30 and after a wedding!

my boyfriend's father cheated on his mom more times than he can count with just as many women. his father also used to beat his mom and him a bit. i'm a little worried about what may happen if we end up getting married. i love him so much and want to be there for him but i also know history tends to repeat itself and growing up with something like that can change your perspective. i was just wondering if anyone knew actual statistics or info on where i can find how likely it is for someone to cheat if their parent has.

I have afriend who cannot stop talking about her tragic childhood.
She has a great business, and has done some amazing things for herself and as a young person in business ( shes only 27!),

but everytime she slows down, its like, boom, she goes into this "my parents left me, I can't trust anybody, Why did it happen, why do these things happen" kinda deal.

It doesn't help matters that she also recently went through some really tough things with an unfaithful husband.

Shes a cool person otherwise, and like I said, when it comes to her business, shes on Fire.

But behind closed doors, she can be a wreck.
How can I help her?

Both are males. One is 33 single the other is 26 gf..It seems I just see them on my birthday and holidays. I was a full time mom very involved with my kids and miss them terribly. They don't seem to have a problem with not seeing me and say work takes all their time. When I mention it, they act like I am nagging them.

Can you think of activities that I could do with them or invite them to that could get me seeing them as least once every several weeks.

Also how to not bring it up when I see them as I think that doesn't work and makes it worse, but it is hard to be silent as I have a tendency to talk too much and express everything I feel.
