At the risk of sounding peculiar:

I don't know what it is, but everytime I meet someone who is Jewish, I get this deep overwhelming feeling of some sort of attatchent or interest or something. It's like the same feeling as if I had just met my brother for the first time in 25 years, since we were born. I can't really explain it in any other way. Anyone else feel that?

Anyone who is Jewish find that offensive or strange?

When people make jokes about Jews or say negative things, I find myself defending them, but never actively defending anyone else to these jokes and harsh statements. Why do you think this is?

I dated this guy 14 years ago, we had a very intense relationship, but we had to break up because we were both in the Army and he had to go to Germany and I had to come back to the states. I think about him alot and I even have pics of him, that I look at often. Is there something wrong with me? My husband is a great guy and gives me whatever I want. I also have a 10 year old son. My life is great. Except I can't get this guy out of my mind. Do I need couseling?

My little girl entered puberty at the age of 6, now she's asking me questions that I find difficult to answer at her young age. my mom is dying and I try to make her feel better and try to make her life as easier as possible. Im only 18 and when she dies I will miss her dearly. On thursday i pissed off the girl i love. We had been dating 3 years on the 11th. I am kind of an @$$hole and have done some dumb things. but through her i had learned to controll my anger better. We had an argument and i walked away to avoid saying something dumb or snaping at her. We split up and she said "if we are ment to be together we will be in the end". We have done this before and everything worked out fine but it was never this bad. Im scared as hell that im going to lose her forever. I showed up at the homecoming dance last night to surprise her and jsut made her cry. I dont think i have ever cryed this much not even when my father died. I need her back but i dont know what to do. should i just give her space for now and let her find her own answer or should i keep telling her that i love her and miss her. If i keep tellin i love her im afraid she will get mad at me and never take me back. Has anyone been through this before and if you have how did you deal with it.

For example, my parents always want me to call them and tell them where I’m going, what I’m doing and who I’m with. Its reasonable and I really would like to comply but when I am out somewhere I never do. I think that they will get angry or that I will be back in so short of a time that I don’t need to waste efforts in informing them. This has lead to many problems and occasional loss of trust. Can you tell me why I cant do what is right, even though I want to and know what it is?
