Tell her that even if you both try, you cannot be just friends anymore, because of the presence of feelings in both your hearts and your friendship can never be the same again. The only way left is to try to take the next step and do well together.

you can't "convince" someone of loving you rather than liking you. those feelings have to evolve naturally.
spend time with her. be her friend. do things together. let the friendship grow.
revisit the relationship thing later. if she's still not into it, then move on. she may change her mind or realize how she feels once she doesn't have you there as much anymore.
on the other hand, maybe in a few months, you may not be in love with her the same way you are now.

You have to remember that all relationships involve risks. Whether or not it's friendship or romantic. If you two are such great friends than you may want to convince her to take that risk with you. Try going on a few dates. Some place where you can be alone but in public so she will feel at ease. And if she doesn't feel as romantic about you as you do to her than it's best that you remain friends.

just be friends for now.... and maybe make little nudges of affection once in a while...... and give her a little bit of space..... but remain good friends, maybe take her to lunch some time. (not dinner! just lunch).... after all, my boyfriend was my friend for a while but we were both too shy to make any big moves on each other..... but one day it was really late (like 2 or 3 am) and we were saying good bye to each other and he said he loved me..... i thought that maybe he had just accidently said it..... but it turns out that he said it on purpose! now we're really happy!

Open a dialogue with a soft conversation about the feelings you are having..... See if she feels the same way honestly.....
