one of my good friends has been abused at home by his alcoholic father who comes home high and drunk and starts beating him and his mother. its been going on forever but he just recently told me. i wont go into how badly his dad beats him, but its severe. and it needs to stop, and i want to help but i dont know what to do. i havent told anyone yet because he told me not to. and yeah, i know, i can tell child services and they wont give out my name. but all they do is search their house & interview (i've had them come to my home before), and i know if they dont find anything out (my friends mom is scared too & wont tell anyone either), his dad will just get angrier and beat him EVEN worse. whats even more wrong is that my friend thinks he deserves this! so what else can i do that will be effective?

So there were these two girls .Let's call them Ria and Mia. Ria told Mia something. And Mia teased Ria about it and told some people. Ria kind of overreacted about it and asked Mia why she said it. My girlfriend and I had been dating 18mnts. Shes very attractive so I would try to get her to less revealing stuff. She used to wear stilletos and mini skirts and tube tops to school, and it did wonders to me. We fell in love and I got tired of guys always checking her out. So I started being more concered with what she wore: you know longer skirts and I would ask her to wear a jacket or something to school, since everyone knows how young guys hormones are! At first she was fine with this because we were in love and everything. We also both agreed that while we were dating, neither of us would do drugs, drink, or "hangout" with people of the opposite sex. Well about a week ago, i don't know what happened but we broke up and now shes totally REBELLING! Shes going against everything we stood for. Shes constintly flirting with multiple guys, wearing hoochie clothes, smoking pot, drinkin, and everything! What can I do to make her realize she's ruining her life and any chance with me again?

If it isn't hard enough to buy a present for someone!!!

Its my boyfriends birthday soon and i want to make it really special so im taking him out for dinner, we are being picked up in a limo!! I have bought him some clothes and aftershave but i want to get him something REALY SPECIAL.

Girls what have you bought your man that they was realy grateful for?

And lads what would you realy like? And i mean within reason, no sports cars or sex toys and stuff.

My limit is probably about £200, he likes cricket and rugby so i have thought about shirts and tickets.

im a none driver , so i cannot follow him.this is a long story (over 18 yrs) n im finding it hard to slam the door in his face i know he a piece of ****, n i know what es up to but he is "RIGHT", "hes not doing anything wrong" (knowing i cannot prove it)

I've always just considered "feelings" as a synonym for emotion, but I recently had the idea that feelings might be literal. So are feelings literally tangible sensations, or is the word just a synonym for emotion? i.e. does heartache refer to actual chest pain?

Well I'm pregnant told my boyfriend how I feel about me getting and abortion he said sometimes you have to do something you don't have to do. But he just keep saying we are young because we both are 17 I understand that. It just seems like he don't care about me it and he said he's not going to have any sympathy for me I'm like it's your baby too. Just keep saying you better get the abortion. Then when I don't pick up the phone he always think i'm cheating so I was like forget it. Let me know if you want to be with me because I'm all cried out. When we was together he cried telling me that he was going to miss be and he would give up that easy and he's changing he ask me what I think it was all a game I said I don't know then he said f**k me so I hung up. Then I call back and said so f**k me now he said yea and my phone going died and hung up. i am a 16 my bf is 21. we have been going out for 3 months, but the only problem is my parents they can see how happy i am when i am with him and they know that he really cares for me. but they still stop me from seeing him and it kills use both, they are worried that he will hurt me, he has never laid a finger on me and we havent even had sex yet. they are also worried that he is pushing me into sleeping with him. but he hasnt even mentioned it yet he said that he will wait for as long as it takes for me ro fell comfortable. however my parents have told me that they want me to end it with him or they will dissown me, i dont know what to do i dont want to loss my parents but i dont want ot end my relationship with my bf. please give me advice.
