I am worried it may be something that will bother her seeing her
father thru glass and not being able to be inside with him.

I have a daughter who has been very difficult to get along with, and as she grew older the relationship between us got only worse. Granted, I was not the best mother, but I had her young and I coped the best I could and nothing can change that.

She says the most hurtful and meanspirited things that hurt me deeply, and any attempts to talk to her have gone nowhere as she justifies her behavior, every time, saying that I deserve it. Anything I say, she'll contradict. Anything I do, she'll scold me without any respect to the fact that I'm her mother.

To make matters worse, she started counseling a few years ago with a therapist that basically told her that any attempts to better the relationship should be ON ME, but she didn't have to reciprocate.

She's not a child (she's 27 years old) and I refuse to have a relationship with anyone when I have to give 150% but she isn't required to give one iota in return. I prefer to move on with my life and wish her the best.

Am I the only person that is irrated about people posting things that make no sense what so ever?
Their wording is completely wrong, they are totally illiterate, and sound like they should be in school instead of trying to post on yahoo answers.
I am totally amazed at the amount of postings that read like a 5 year old wrote them.
How does anyone expect a logical answer to a posting that you can not make heads or tails out of?
Makes one wonder about the way these individuals are/were raised that they can not even put together sentences that make sense. Where are the parents and/or teachers that were/are suppose to be teaching these individuals how to read and write?
Im sorry folks but this just irrates the hell out of me.
Anyone else feel this way?
I am not saying that I am the most intelligent person in the world, and Im not saying that I don't mispell words at times but I at least you can make out what I am saying when you read it

I've been with my boyfriend for over a year now. But I've known him for much much longer. I love and care for him like I never thought I could. And I know he feels the same towards me. But sometimes, I wonder. Days like Valentine's Day or my Birthday or our Anniversary, which he knows are profoundly special to me (knows without a doubt), he won't even attempt to do anything that would make me happy. It's like he doesn't even try to think about what I would like. What would bring a smile to my face. I'm not asking for a huge gesture. Just something to show he was thinking about me. We are planning on getting engaged soon. He knows what a big thing that is for me too. I've dreamt about this. I've always wanted to be surprised. A sweet romantic walk in the park where he would ask me to marry him. He's killing that dream for me. According to him, romance kills a relationship, it makes it fake. What do I do? Am I wrong? Help me please. I love him and want to understand.

A little over a month ago, I had a "breakdown" and cheated on my fiance. By "breakdown", I mean that I am in the early stages of treating a recently diagnosed bipolar disorder. I am still confused and prone to ups and downs quite frequently while me and my doctor are finding the right medication.

Me and my fiance broke up, and I have moved home (500 miles away). We have talked regularly, and I am still in counseling and going to the doctor regularly in order to deal/cope with my mental health issues.

We have decided to make another attempt at our relationship. I have been caring and very calm, attempting to show him that I am no longer trying to control things or force him to make decisions based on me.

I guess what I want to ask you all is... is this fair of me to ask of him? Do I have any right to ask him to try again with me? I don't want to hurt him ever again, and I don't think I will, but nothing in life is guaranteed.

Thanks in advance.

he says they are just friends and that he didnt think that telling them he was single would hurt any one as he wouldnt actually meet them as they were on the otherside of the world.

My boyfreind has invited me to his family reunion where I will, of course, be introduce to a lot of his family members...Now we are fighting...he does not want me to wear tight jeans and he does not want me to smoke...he says he was attracted to me for these very reasons, but he does not want his family to think he is attract to "this kind of girl". I say I should be me...wear tight jeans and smoke...what does everyone else think...should I be me or is he trying to change me for this one time? I like regular sexy look and so doe he...they don't call me tina tight pants for no reason.
