I'm 28 and so a 38 year old would be fair enough. It depends on her maturity level and what stage she's at in her life.

With that being said...

How old are you?
How old is the guy you're interested in?
Just because It's alright for me doesn't mean that it's alright for you. I'm an adult ten years above the legal age limit able to make decisions and fully understand what I'm getting in to. If you are a teenager and you're looking at a 20 something year old then it's different because you will be at different stages of your lives and you may not be fully aware of what you're getting into. If you are that teenager don't enter into it because I don't believe it will end well. Enjoy being young and find someone closer to your own age. You don't want to be entering into something you're not ready for.

I hope this helps.
Take care.

It would depend on the ages. There's a much bigger difference between 16 or 18 and 26 or 28 than there is between 38 or 40 and 48 or 50. The more life experiences you have, the closer your maturity levels are and the more you have in common. There's also less likely a chance that the older person will take advantage of the younger person's lack of experience and maturity, whether intentional or not.

I dated a guy that was 20 years older than me, also dated 2 guys that was 11 years older . Age is just a number most men are more mature and know how to treat women. I didn't worry about the age because I looked beyond the age and saw the true person behind the age.

Way back when i first became sexually active, im 38 now, I always had a thing for older women, I would date ladies 10 to 15 years older then I was. They were incredible in bed and I learned a lot from them, they were more mature so they werent hung up onthe same stuff as girls my age. I actually believe older women made me a better lover because they were more open talking about sex, and I think that made me a better lover

No "right" answer.
It depends on many factors. I dated someone who was 19 yrs older then me for over a year, great guy. Our break up had nothing to do with age.
My husband (of 3 yrs) is 8 yrs older then me. We never gave it a thought.

Yes, I think its perfectly fine to have a relationship with anyone who is older than you. Even 10 years older. I think its all about what your looking for. Maturity, security, money ,.. whatever! Trust me, I wish I could meet someone who was older and more mature!

My husband is 10 years older than me and we couldn't be happier. As long as you have enough in common and love eachother thats all that matters.
