Last night my girlfriend and I were watching TV and she just randomly breaks down crying. This never happened before. She wouldn't tell me why when I asked. I don't think it's something I did. All I could get out of her was that she had alot going on and alot to think about but she didn't say what exactly. What do I do if this happens again. I love her more than anything and she feels the same about me. I hate seeing her upset. How can I help her and make things better if she gets over stressed.

my boyfriend is 26 years old. i always catch him in the middle of the nite watching porn on dvd's, on the computer, or looking at his dirty magazines. and then he does his business with himself and comes back to bed. will this ever stop? is this a phase with men in their twenties. it makes me feel that i'm not pleasing him enough or in the right way? should i worry? should i break up with him over it? how can i make it stop bothering me?

I had a very short relationship with a man who was divorced but he still lived at his ex wife's house because she was taking him for child support and he couldn't afford to live on his own. She found out I was with him for a short while and now she is calling my cell phone everyday threatening my life, saying she is going to call me everyday until she kills me. I'm going to the police but what do you think about this ? It's ridiculous because she's his EX-wife. They are no longer together. i'm not with him anymore but she keeps harassing me. I left him because I thought the situation he was in was crazy.

I have two friends that are in relaionships that they are extrememly unhappy in. And the only reasons I am getting from them is that they are staying in for the sake of the children...This bothers me alot...I think thats a cop-out...am i wrong to disagree with them?

Met guy at wedding from another state, we became friends and visited each other in our home states. He stated he wanted to relocate and move in together. We lived together for four months and then all of the sudden he said he did not want to be in a relationship and wa going back home. Reason being he missed his children, but they were at our home at the time.

Once upon a time, there was a king who ruled a prosperous country. One day, he went for a trip to some distant areas of his country. When he was back to his palace, he complained that his feet were very painful, because it was the first time that he went for such a long trip, and the road that he went through was very rough and stony. He then ordered his people to cover every road of the entire country with leather. Definitely, this would need thousands of cows' skin, and would cost a huge amount of money.

Then one of his wise servant dared himself to tell the king, "Why do you have to spend that unnecessary amount of money? Why don't you just cut a little piece of leather to cover your feet?”

The king was surprised, but he later agreed to his suggestion, to make a "shoe" for himself.

There is actually a valuable lesson of life in this story: to make this world a happy place to live, you better change yourself - your heart; and not the world

I have been with my dude for almost a year now and we are so in love with each other, we met at the same school but he has graduated already. We never argue we always talk out are problems but I know him so well I know when something is bothering him but he sit there and tells me nothing is wrong. When I come home on breaks and weekends he turns on the tv when I want to talk to him or when we go out he just walk beside me and he does not have much to say anymore. He use to turn off anything to talk to me he use to want to hold my hand all the time, and he use to always have something to say. I know he changed every since he graduated because I dont see him everyday like I use to. but why everytime we are alone I have to intiate the conversation? Why is it that he nevers has anything to say unless I ask him something first? Or is it that I want too much out of our realtionship?

My long term boyfriend (8 years) and I broke up about 4 months ago. I still have to speak to him on a regular basis, because we have a child. How can I stop caring about what he thinks of me?? How can I move on?? I don't want to get back together (not that it's even an option) but it still hurts to see him. Help!!!

I am an adult child who grew up in a very abusive home. Daddy was abuser. My mom watched as he beat us. As a child I always felt that I needed to protect her and actually we(brother and I) both took a few beatings just for trying to get daddy to lay off of going after mama. Onetime he actually held her at gunpoint and shot at her. She swore he wouldnt hurt her. I had to literally pull her out of the house and call the police with her objecting.

Daddy died 12 years ago. She remarried a man that had the same violent history. Thankfully the man has never raised a hand toward my mom but thats just it! He would have had to get off his butt to do something..anything! which he hasnt in over 11 years.

Moms now hubby has stage 4 cancer and she insists on keeping him home even though he cannot tend to himself and he is jealous of her doing w/o him. Her health suffers. How do I just let her suffer from her decisions? If she dies I have no core family left. Im scared of losing her. help!

I am 13 and he is 15. I am scared of my brother.

He is a lot stronger than I am. He hurts me and beats me. He says harsh words to me and talks about killing me. He once tried to suffocate me and has several times tried to choke me. I am afraid of being in a swimming pool with him because he tries to drown me. And it continues to get worse.

He can be a really good person sometimes, but...I guess he's just selfish and doesn't know how much he's really hurting me. How can I get him to stop? I tell my parents about it and they get angry at me, too.

I live in wisconsin and this girl llives in california. she is 3 years younger than me. She is my cousin's friend. WE have seen each other a couple times on family reunions for a week or a little more each. I've never felt this way about another girl before. I don't know if she likes me or what but i think she does. She asked me if i have a gf (i dont) and she likes talking to me a lot. I think she looks at me like she likes me i dont know. ALso, she likes makin jokes and stuff at me but not to be mean just funny stuff. I want to be together with her forever i just dont know if it all can be put together.
