they are just trying to help. They may have some wisdom in this area more then you do. Dont look at it as telling you what to do. Listen tell them your ideas and why and see what they think. I bet they would love for you to ask them their opinion on classes your interested in.Just see what they say and make sure to thank them for listening and you will way out the options. Your parents love you and have good intentions. I know its hard and somewhat annoying but they wont be around for ever.

Because they know what classes you really need to take to be successful and not waste your time. What is the point of going to school if you aren't going to learn anything and better yourself?! I think that you should listen to them to a point, but sometimes you just need to take classes that are fun and easy so your plate isn't overflowing with hard stuff that will stress you out.

B/c you must be doing nothing in school and have no direction so they are just helping point you in the right direction. I would let them too. My mom did that to me and made me what I am today. A doctor, single mom, soccor mom and I thank my mom for guiding me. So listen to your parents they only want what is best for you.

I wish someone would have been able to tell me how important it would be to know several different languages!!!---and computer skills----when i was in school---many years ago---many!
