Why do women get the upperhand over men when it comes to the law?

The police believes women 99% of the time when it comes to who hit who.

Because police recognize that women are not as aggressive or "out to prove something" like men are. They also recognize our nurturing natures and we are not outwardly aggressive (usually) when accidents happen which makes their jobs easier. Plus, women just have it going on!

It is many reasons. And in most cases it is different. And I am not saying it is right for her to do so. Some women do it because it is the ONLY way she can really get back at the man for something he did to her- say for instance, like slept with her best friend or denied her child or left her for another woman. In MANY cases when a man does something to really hurt a woman he can walk away SO easily and pay NO conquences for his actions. He can even laugh in her face when he does so. So some women uses the law to get back at him. Because that is the ONLY WAY to make him feel some of the pain he had cause her. And i do mean the only way.

But the woman is believed most of the time because she is the weaker sex, she can be EASILY beaten and left for dead. She is not as strong as a man. She can be easily taken advantage of. And if she has children (knowing that most of the time a MAN will not be there to protect her) the law will protect her because no one else will.

And one woman said because the law needs the women to take care of "their" children because the "man" do not want to do it.

Believe me when i say you would never want to be a woman. Because then you would see first hand what they go through.

Domestic violence works both ways. Supposedly the police make the determination based on bleeding, bruising or other bodily injury. But in the cases of mutual domestic violence, I believe women get the upper hand since they do not always leave evidence that the man was hit. In any case it is wrong.

Because the percentage of men who hit women is much higher than the other way around
And because I would think half of the percentage of women that have hit men have done it in self defense.
That's just how it is.

There should be no upper hand. A real man, even in defense of himself, would never ever hit a woman, no matter what. He would walk away and not look back. Manly is not giving in on emotional spur of the moment rage, but holding it in check and being in control of your own emotions.
