my husband and i have been marrried since 1991. we have 9 children all together. we have been living apart for almost 5 years due to drug abuse and constant fighting over "a friend" of his. she is a stripper that started of in 1996 as his friends girlfriend she has since been with hecka other men my husband denied knowing this person for years but would always vanish for days or weeks on end he would stay in hotels. we would fight over this girl all the time cuz i would find message at our place of business from her and phone records etc. as far as i know he has never had a physical affair with her. people tell me that there is no way she would be with him in that way. the thing is he has always pushed me to the side in tears and desperate to know the trueth just to talk to her or help her out with taxes etc. he doesn't tell anyone that we are still very close in fact he tells people he wants nothiong to do with me he denies me and flaunts her when he can

I have received some very good advise from everyone and am very pleased by it. I am just a little curious to know what the majority of the age groups are? I guess they would differ from every catagory. Would anyone mind answering?

O.K. here's the deal I get sick and tired of all these beautiful, smart, funny, couragous, indepedant women that always indentify themselves as somebody's something.Bubbasgirl, mannyscutie, sososwife, and things of that nature. Some of you have blessed this world just by going through childbirth and some of you Goddesses have given childbirth,so why be someone's toy, property or even second?
does you boy or hubby ever say he is ----------hubby?

So many couples split up and then we have to see them fall apart, physically and mentally.Wouldn't it be easier to not be? Sure, in our late teens/early 20s we may have alot in common with our partner, but we all grow, spiritually/religiously, we all change, so do we try to keep a commitment to that person that we knew 'back then' even though if we were introduced to them now, we might not be as interested in them?

Hey all I have a problem and i need advice?
My girl and i have or had a good relationship for a long time almost 4 years we have both done some jive things to each other but our relationship has and is losing its fire. Im losing her to her friends in which I feel I should come first especially when Im home because im away at school. She really doesnt express herself that much to me anymore. She and we usually say I love you all the time but we havent said it in almost a week now, shes not as bubbly or loving as she used to be. I tried to talk it over with her and because I've done this on numerous occasions she doesnt want 2 hear it anymore. I love her a whole lot but Im completely lost?

--We would like to go somewhere exotic with great sites to see. Problem: I've heard that most, if not all places are deserted because vacation season is over. We want to spend quality time together, but we don't want to be bored either! We were looking at Fiji, New Zealand, Spain...ect. HELP!

Right now I am in a tricky financial mess because my wife just up and leaves jobs without finding a new one. She goes like 1 month with a job and 1 month looking for a new one. Its totally irresponsible. Right now we are trying to move into a new place, but because she hasnt been able to maintain a job for even more then 45 days we have problems. How can I teach her about doing things smart without offending her. Shes 28, but goes through life like she can still count on others to take care of her. Should I just let her stand on her own and work the problem out or step in a fix everything once again? Im to the point where its really getting me angry.

But suddenly he got panicky, saying he was having doubts we were right for each other. He said he needed a break from us. obviously this left me completely devastated. I moved home to the UK from his home (Canada), and tried to pick up my life. After a week he called saying he didnt think he was in love with me anymore, and that our relationship had changed. This sounded so final, I was heartbroken.. We had an amazing relationship and now everything is a mess. So I tried to pick myself up the best I could.
Untill today I was doing ok. But he called this morning. He sounded so down and sad. He told me he had started taking drugs (which he never did with me) he needs them to 'have a good time' He says his life's a mess. He misses me, and has thought about coming bk to UK and begging me to take him back. He said he keeps thinking about the good times, but NEVER actually said I WANT YOU BACK, which is what I needed to here. He made me promise to call tonight, what shoud I do?

This is somewhat related to my previous post, but my boyfriend has no academic drive. He's smart, but he was never a good student in school nor does he have self-ambition. However, he told me he would complete a degree just because I wanted him to. He told me he doesn't want to, but because I want to, he'd do it to fit my "ideal partner" notion. Is this the right motivation or does it even matter? I'd rather he want it himself...
