O.K. here's the deal I get sick and tired of all these beautiful, smart, funny, couragous, indepedant women that always indentify themselves as somebody's something.Bubbasgirl, mannyscutie, sososwife, and things of that nature. Some of you have blessed this world just by going through childbirth and some of you Goddesses have given childbirth,so why be someone's toy, property or even second?
does you boy or hubby ever say he is ----------hubby?

Good question but I don't know the answer...the only time I'm anyone's "toy" is when I want to be, and thats private...not for advertising to the world. Sorry.

Okay so you are saying that someone who is beautiful in the way of appealing to (your) eye, needs to not love someone? You are so totally wrong, we all are beautiful wether we are a size 5 or a size 25...It is the inner person that makes us beautiful. Just because I am a perfect size 6, that dosen't mean I am appealing. We all were blessed by going through childbirth and/or having children of our own. You are such a low life, I hope that you wake up and see women for who they are not for what they are or what they can do to or for you.

I identify myself by my husband's name because, in spite of moving to a new city in a different state upon being married, my husband and his family is well-known and highly respected here, and upon introducing myself as so-and-so's wife I am immediately welcomed in as a member of the community with local family and history, instead of being scrutinized down to the very smallest detail as an outsider. I don't believe it is degrading to me to identify myself in this way, rather, it allows me to be myself, and a very great part of who I am is that I am Kevin's wife.

I usually don't hide behind anyone. BUT sometimes it is easier to get my husband at work if I say this is_____ wife, can I speak with him, if not, I get a hole bunch of questions. Anywhere else I am just me.

Because if women don't identify themselves as belonging to someone, preferably a man, they get labelled frigid, gay, weird or stinky.

Because that is how society trains us. We have to work hard to overcome it.
