Friends - April 2007

I had this friend for about 7 and today i told her i couldn't take it anymore. Those weren't the words but that was basically the message. See she lives about 8 hours away. We went through alot of great things through high school and the beginning of college. She moved away and since I don't have too much money I couldn't go see her. Also, I lived w/ my parents and now w/ my grandma and its not that easy leaving without them being extremely worried I do have rules. So I haven't gone to visit her in the 2 years she's lived there. To me it seems that she betrayed me bc she became best friends with that other girl bc I haven't physically seen her new life. I know she is proud of it and so am I. She has offered to pay my ticket to go on a bus to visit her. But my pride never allowed me to take her money. I don't understand why I have to be there physically for her to feel my support and friendship. Its like everything we went through in the past doesn't matter.

Im 15 and the one thing i really want more than anything is a mom who cares and will always be their...When i was younger my mom use to date all these different men...And they were drug dealers,I've been touched by one raped by one...And My own mom took her boyfriends side...She picks her friends over me...Im scared of her one friend she is liveing with this friend..And her friend has been on drugs since they age of 12 but she is off them anyway her friend is rude and she punched me where she shouldent of my mom seen it and laughed...also my moms friend was in jail for stealing cars and she almost killed a guy...I want to report her friend but would anything be done?Because i know my mom would take her friends side...And also the holiday(easter is coming up..If her friend can't go to our family party my mom wont go to see me : (...I tried to take my life over my mom she always makes me cry...What do i do to get this all to stop,Everytime i tell her how i feel she tells me to grow up.

and u love everything about him he makes you laugh and he sooo fine but he is also sweet and careing and he took care of me when we were going out but he said he didnt want 2 go back out because of what my ex-best friend told him some things that was not true and he believed her over me when he came to ask me the truth and i told him he said that he couldnt do this because he cant trusy me, he haerd that i was heating on him and i was telling people lies about him and i didnt, i loved him and i still do, i want to go back out with him but he dont but he still loves me, how can that happen? i need all the help i can get so what should i do?

basicly last year was my birthday and evryone of my close friends had plans....and the week before they had briefly mentioned to do something...i dotn much care about bday parties and such...but that night i wasnt even acknoldged nor did i get a 'happy birthday' or 'yo lerts do something' i got mad...now freidns b-day is comming up//im not going out of spite..what would you do?

I've known my friend for about 4 and a half years. He moved to Manchester a few years ago, so the only way I can speak to him is online. His girlfriend split up with him for no apparent reason, after a 1 and a half year relationship. He's really depressed, but I don't know what I can do or say to him to make him feel any better. The only thing that will satisfy him is if him and his girlfriend got back together, but it doesn't look like it's going to happen. What can I do?

last year i was in 8th grade. i had 6 really close friends but only 1 was going to the same highschool as me next year. When we got to highschool, me and my friend from 8th grade still hung out alot in the beginning but as the year went on she stopped sitting with me at lunch and started ignoring me. she now hangs out with all the popular girls and is totally boy crazy! i tried calling her and sending her emails to see what was up with her but she never picked up her phone when she saw it was me and just blamed it all on me in the emails. i cant take her anymore!! what should i do about her?

I'm part Mexican so I have dark brown hair and tan skin all year long. Sometimes when I'm in a group or something talking to my friends and I hear people whispering "Their's that Mexican girl," I find this kinda painful and rude. I'm just the same as other 11 year old girls. I like to sing, dance, and cheer. Even the teachers are like this! One of my teacher only picks the white kids (no offense) and never the other races. Why are people like this??? I try not to let it get to me but it gets painful and hard at some points. My friends say i'm just as normal as the other kids. They even thinks it's kinda cool to have a Mexican friend so I tell them about Mexico and the things I know about it. Why are people like this? We are all the same no matter what we look like on the outside.

there's this guy at work whom I used to be friends with and now we don't talk since we had a conflict about him making sexual jokes. Anyway I apologized to him and emailed him suggesting that we make peace on Friday and today I sent him another emai asking if he got my first email. I know he opened it because the email system lets you know when the sender opens mail, but he never responded at all.

she's still living with her husband although technically separated..but has started meeting much younger men and staying out all night. I went with my husband to a social event with my friend Chris and her husband Steve and some other couples. Chris and Steve and us were supposed to be sitting at different tables. I came alone to my table after fixing my plate, and sat down at our table. Steve comes and sits down next to me and starts telling me how nice I look, and seems to be settling in to sit with me. Then Chris walks up and Steve suddenly stands up and says "I better go". Of course Chris has been real standoffish since this happened. I didn't do anything but go to my table. Next time he saw me later that night, he just looked at me and went just said "mmm,mmm,mmm." This guy is very handsome, but Im not interested for alot of reasons. I know we are going to run into this couple alot, and I'm not sure how to handle it.

Ok...so I am sick fairly often...its just natural...but i have missed 10 days of school this semester and my friends are always calling me and saying OMG youve missed soo much school..I can't help it. It really makes me mad. What should I do? ( btw: its my last year with them)

Weirdest thing- last week I came to work and a co-worker whom I'm friends with came in but never said hello to me. I thought it was weird so I never said anything to her.
