It is socially unacceptable. YET...how do you control who you love??? The Greeks & Romans...and a lot of royal families counted on incestious relationships to keep the bloodlines pure...and to keep the wrong people from infiltrating the family! I do know a family...cousins who have been married almost 30 years {no we are not from the south ;)} Their daughter is my dearest friend and just turned 28...drop dead gorgous. LIZ

If I was in the same situation...I'd probably take it further. Cousin 'incest' happens all of the time. God must have intended for it especially since that's how the entire worlds populatiion supposedly started.

It is perfectly natural to have these feelings but acting on them is a different story.

Do you really think this is about love or more likely about lust and sex? I would venture to guess the latter.

It's best to keep your hands to yourself and eventually you will grow out of this and start directing your feeling toward a more healthy relationship.

It could be illegal depending on what cousin it is. I think its considered incest if its your first cousin but not your second or third.

Wikipedia states this: "The laws of many U.S. states recognize two separate degrees of incest, the more serious degree covering the closest blood relationships such as father-daughter, mother-son and brother-sister, with the less-serious charge being pressed against more distantly-related individuals who engage in sexual intercourse, usually down to and including first cousins and sometimes half cousins. to tell you ,this happened to me too,i guess everyone was against us and most of my family knew,my dad moved me away, and i havent seen him for 2 years, men to tell you i loved him.it hurted because nobody understood us.i still talk to him trough the phone but since i was under age,17 i couldnt do anything.its really not wrong to love someone and if you think you want to be with her go for it.people are ignorant and say what everybody says, well if no one in your family knows ,be careful, they a re not going to like it at all,

Sure, why not..
There is no valid scientific genetic prohibition against cousins
marrying cousins and having children, 1st. 2nd. or 3rd cousins.
This has been known for at least a decade...
Ignorance still abounds in this regard...

I feel sorry for the imbred kids. Might want to think about that one. Oh, and as far as God starting incest, Adam and Eve weren't related. It was fine later on in the bible until we started degenerating as humans and our DNA got screwed so that we couldn't have babies with our relatives. Find someone your not related to.
