Weirdest thing- last week I came to work and a co-worker whom I'm friends with came in but never said hello to me. I thought it was weird so I never said anything to her. A week passes by and we haven't spoken to each other. Another co-worker told me she doesn't talk to me because I stopped talking to her. Seems like this friendship sizzled for no reason. What should I do?

You are both adults, so my suggestion is to act like adults. Ask your co-worker if everything is okay because you were wondering why the two of you have not spoken lately. Do not lay blame on this other person. It sounds like simple miscommunication. If you still want to be friends with this person, clear up whatever confusion has happened and apologize for not speaking to him/her.

Explain yourself and talk to her.

Make an effort to talk to her.

See how that goes.

If it's a chore - then she might be too much hard work.

But you never know - maybe she's a little like you and there was this time you didn't say hello to her ... maybe she thought it was wierd and so she never said anything to you and then this is how it all pans out? *shrugs*

Ummm, just a thought, but talk to her? Obviously this is a misunderstanding. So just walk up and say "hey, this is pretty silly, since I wasn't talking to you since you weren't talking to me and vice-versa". Have a good laugh and get over it.
