Friends - January 2007

My best friend and I have been inseparable for the last four years. We have everything in common, and hang out with each other as much as possible. Recently, though, she got her first boyfriend (I don't have a boyfriend) and has been spending ALL of her time with him. I can't stand how she's blowing off our friendship like he's so much better when she's only known him for a few months. AND she's going around saying she's in love. which i think is pretty ridiculous, saying that she is 16 and he is the first guy who has shown any interest in her. I love my friend, but does this really mean that our friendship is over? It's not that she doesn't talk to me anymore, it's just that he's always there or she chooses to do something with him rather than me. I get so frustrated at who she's becoming, but is there anything i can do?

okay so recently my dad bought me a puppy cuz i've been begging for one for a long time. My mom said that She doesnt want a dog cuz she doesnt want to take care of it. I INSISTED that i would care for the dog and do EVERYTHING. i got my puppy and the second night while everyone was sleeping i started having these major anxiety attacks. I BARELY EAT. and every night i end up throwing up...i'm feeling stressed about thise new puppy and my HEAVY responsibilities.. I feel AWFUL. i was excited about my puppy at first but now i cant handle it. I know i messed up and i should have listened to my mom. IS it wrong of me to tell my family that i was wrong and i think we should find a new home for our puppy...cuz thats what i really want to do But im scared my family will be angry.. This is killing my heart and makes me cry almost everynight.

6th form has been the best thing ever and i have a group of friends who love me and i love them but i dont wana leave them and its really depressing...i'm sure i'll never find another group of people as special to me as they are...anyone else feel the same?

Is there a code that will hide only one or two people or people you want to chose to be hidden? I know there is a code to hide all of your friends.
Im just curious because i have a friend who only has 50 something friends,but the thing on there says 60 something. i was wondering if maybe she found a way to hide certain people...??

I am having issues with my Best friend. She and i both big flirts and she is mad at me all the time because everytime we meet a boy they all want to date me and not her. I've had no freinds in 2 years.

I rarely make conversations at school.The thing is.
I feel because i have no friends i don't want to come out of my shell because i don't want people to find out i'm a loner.They'll inevitably ask me who i hang around with and i won't know what to say.

I can either lie or tell them the truth and leave myself open to being known as a loner.At the moment they probly don't know for sure i'm a loner in school & outside school.


p.s i've never been verbally or physically bullied.

I try to makea real effort to talk to people but i just get no where. We just end up as acquaintances. I was bullied at school, which i suppose had a profound effect on me making friends. At college i was very very shy and didnt make any friends. I keep myself to myself blurring intot eh background. I pretended everything was ok, going to college to do my work coming home again like a routine. I feel like i cnat go on anymore. i ask myself again and again why this is happening to me. i am very shy and clam up. i have so much to give but im not very confidant. i wish i could just meet someone who shows some interest in me. I need serious help, i have no boyfriend either. i want a normal life, mates, kids, marraige. I dont think i can carry on anymore.

I'll try to boil this down to the basics. Me and my friend are both 21 year old gay males. We've been friends for about 6 years now. Throughout the past several months he has left a long-term relationship with a terrible boyfriend.

More recently, I have seen him looking for sex on Craigslist in our area basically looking for a quick hookup or something like that. I guess he doesn't know I've seen his ads on there every so often because I never brought it up.

We've both made those same dumb moves before, and we both talk about how much we think hookups are stupid and in our past. He doesn't tell me with whom or when he's hooked up, but potentially, it's been several times.

Am I a bad friend for not approaching him about it after all this time? and if so how should I go about bringing this up with him? Part of me thinks its his business, but another part thinks I should confront him?

I don't know. . . what would you do in the same situation?

he gose to my school and is in my gread. He smoks and his mom buys him it. She says "It's not my life I'm killing."
Evry one hates him becuse hes a smart alick, rude and sick. But I don't want him to dye becuse his mother is an ***. How do I help so he dosn't kill me or hurt me. It would be so sad if I knew some one who died. All the teaches know to but do any thing. I don't like seeing someone my age suffer.
