You don`t have a Guy Problem, you have a human nature problem. It`s called love. This boy has been out of circulation for a while (being home schooled) so go for it. Be his friend and take it one step at a time. Just see what happens. GOOD LUCK

Just start with being a friend, ask him for help with homework to get a conversation going, perhaps stop for a soda after school, to let him know you are interested and you will see whether he is interested in you as well.

OK what exactly do you need help with? Just hang around him, but not so much that he thinks your stalking him. Become really good friends with him, and flirt innocently, and see if he flirts back. Get to know him and see if he falls for you. Be yourself. Guys go for girls who are them selves, not ones who try to hard, or act fake. Good Luck!

i think you should say something. but try and see how he's doing. dont be like"o hey glad your back, i like you lets get together" thats a little straightfoward and it wont give him time to think. good luck. just be honest.
