he gose to my school and is in my gread. He smoks and his mom buys him it. She says "It's not my life I'm killing."
Evry one hates him becuse hes a smart alick, rude and sick. But I don't want him to dye becuse his mother is an ***. How do I help so he dosn't kill me or hurt me. It would be so sad if I knew some one who died. All the teaches know to but do any thing. I don't like seeing someone my age suffer.

Drench him in vodka then give him a light... hopefuly he will catch on fire only receiving minor thrid degree burns (alcohol is an accelerant, but it burns up very quickly) but the memory of lighting a cigarette and being burnt alive will haunt him for a long time.

This is horrible. His mom should love him and care about him more than that! There is nothing you can do to help him except be his friend. You can't make his mom care about him more and you can't make your teachers try to help him. Try to show him that there is a better life.

Well, if you care about your friends health and feel that his habits are unhealthy, you can take a stand and STOP being friends with him. You don't want to associate with kids whose habits do not reflect yours. If he values your friendship, perhaps it will be enough to help him give up this habit.
