she acts as if she is better then everyone else. she thinks that she is smarter and prettier than everyone else including her friends. she is extremely rude to everyone. i didnt know how much more i could take so i came up with an idea about changing her kinda like in the movie grease with sandy. she sort of agreed. now i need some ideas on what to do to get her to change her attitude. help!!! i might end up slapping her soon... or worse!!!

Ever see movies when robbers make people strip before they leave? Like in the movie Surrender where they left all the rich people naked, or Inside Man where they made the bank strip?

What purpose would this serve? A diversion of some kind?

my freind/neice of 6 years or more turned her back on me. she lived with me and we use to be very close and 2 months ago i went to her sweet 16 and she ignored me the whole time. i thought we was suppose to be closer than everybody else. we even been goin to the same school for 4 years and we havnt talked to each other in 2 years. me and her we was close and now we aint. she turned her back on me for people she dont even know. i was there when she had nothing and made her what she is today.....and she turned her back on me.what should i do??? should i talk to her and try to be reasonable or forget about her?? we are both in the 10th grade and we both go to the same school. any advice please!!!!!!!!!

Well in middle school i guess i was pretty cool. i know this sound really lame but i was best friends with like the most popular boy in middle school. alot of people didn't like me, i really don't know why though. then when i got to highschool me and that boy stoped hanging around eachother so much. i still have friends, but i feel like they are just class friends. i feel like i come off really clingy, and that people think im annoying.
i try to be myself, and i really am myself, but i don't think people like me for me.
yeah i hang around that "popular" group, yeah lame, but i think they don't want me around, when i do hang around them.
i know im not ugly, like at all.
but i know im not gorgeous...
what can i do?
do i have to change myself, to make friends?

used to be friends with this guy and told him my feelings of wanting more but he had a g/f...he said it was a bad relationship, stayed with her then came to me when they broke up and went back to her. He knew I was angry and I wouldnt forgive him. Now I miss his friendship. I dont know this was back in April, and for some reason I thought about him and wanted to be his friend again. Is there any point in contacting him, i only want a friendship.

My girlfriend wont leave me alone she thinks our relationship cant involve neone else like she basicaly wants me to cut all ties with my friends family everyone in my life i dont talk to ne of my friends nemore bc of her the other day 2 of my friends died in a car accident one was 18 one was 16 she says they deserve it bc the driver was drunk i cant get out of theis relationship i despratly need help we are bolth homescholed and i and even going back to school to try to make things better she is ruining my job and makeing my life hell i am also afride she will stop takeing her birth controle or lie about takeing to get pregerant so we will have to stay together im thinking about packing up and leaving state with an old friend bc of it but i just turned 17 and i really dont want to we have been together for 11 months and she scars the **** out of me she has been to the hosiptle for depression so i am scared to leave her please wright as much help as possible thanks

I really like this band, so I have pictures of them EVERYWHERE. None of my friends like the band, as a matter of fact, they dont even like the same type of music as me! Most of my friends talk about me behind my back and say that I need to grow up and that I am obsessed, just because I have so many pictures of the band. I hear this from my other friends who tell me. I feel completly alone. Most people who have an "obsession" have friends who share it with them, but I don't. Sometimes now when I even think about my friends I cry. I live in a small town so it isnt like I can just leave my friends and meet new people because I know all the people in my town. I like other bands too, so it is not like I am even that obsessed. I dont know what to do! I need help. What should I do?

Is this unprofessional? For example, I have a gentleman who has given me tutoring lessons, and he's always asking me if I would like to sign up for more, but I told him I was going through financail difficualty and couldn't so he offered free sessions, but I never took advantage but what was weird was the fact that he txt messaged me last night at 12:00 midnight asking me if I wanted to sign up for more tutoring sessions and I told him I didn;t know, and he was like well let me know when you have an hour free...Does anyone thinks thats sort of weird..? And what do you think his agenda might be?

ok, so in my school there are 8 programs in which you can be in and I'm in (lets call it) HTY. HTY is pretty good, I like my teachers but I am too quiet around the people in my program, kinda seems like I can't socialize wit them or make them my friends. I tried talking to them and being nice and all dat, but they just don't seem to want to do the same. I've known the same people for a little less than a year. So I was thinking about changing to another program that looks better and seems like I can get along better and make more friends. Should I stay or should I go?

he is a ex con. has hit me in the past. his mom slept with a knife under her pillow when he was living with her. his sister said, he is just like his estranged father whose mom left when my BF =was a baby when she was 8 months pregnant cuz he tried to kill her and the baby, so she fled across state lines. his father made his mom work 2 jobs, while he went to the bars and spent her check. can something like this be genetic? but he never met his dad.

I have two best friends. Let's just say their names are Ann and Sarah.
Ann and Sarah are closer to each other than with me. They have their own sleepovers without me (they even ask each other in front of my face), go to the mall without me and go to each other's houses every Saturday.
Once, Sarah went on a vacation and Ann actually asked to go over to my house once. And that was the only time. They hang out with each a lot more, and sometimes even ignore me completly. They call me their best friend, but I don't feel like it. I can't make other friends, as our school's cliques are strong and bonded.

But help! WHAT SHOULD I DO??????? I hate being the third wheel.

Here is the situation. My husband has been friends with his best friend since elementary school and he is a great guy, he is my friend also. I will call him Jim. Jim hasn't had good luck with females his entire life but fortunately met "the one" about a year ago and they are getting married this summer. This is wonderful and we are happy for him but his behavior has changed ever since he began seeing this girl and not for the better. He has always been a great friend to us and would never say a hurtful word to anyone but now he blows all his friends off for his fiance and has become very self-absorbed. My husband and I moved about 4 hours away last summer into a pretty big house and we have had another friend tell us that Jim says my husband is snotty now and we are over our heads with this house, we don't need that much house etc. We are not strapped and are able to put money away even with our new house.
