Me and this female used to be really good friends, even were roommates ( she was a horrible roommate too, used to leave my apartment a mess and let her dog shyt all in its cage all day). I had known her for over 3years and I thought we shared a pretty good bond. That is until she started using me and taking advantage of my kindness, but never being there for me when I needed her, so I decided that the friendship was over ( it got pretty ugly too). Long story short, we fell out of friendship, I tried a few times to rebuild it, but she would just curse me and ask me to forget her number, and so I did. Now, 3mons later I get a text out of the blue saying "Do you want my dog? If not I'm taking him to the home on Friday, because I'm leaving." Honestly, it's a good dog and I'd hate to see it possibly go to the pound and never come out. But I'm wonderign why me of all people was asked to take him. What would you do in this situation? I have my own dog now too?

My friend and I have known eachother for bout 4 years now and been "hookin up" for bout a year and a half. I've had boyfriends off and on during that time that he was aware of and knew I broke up with because I had really strong feelings for him. Its been just me and him for about 6 months now and I have gotten no commitment. He works for the State and I have a "not so good rep" with the authorities but No Record. I understand he has a serious rep to keep but I Dont understand why me being his Girlfriend needs to be such a secret anymore. I also hear rumors bout him and another person. Im so confused! I am 22 and he is 36 yrs old, I think he should be damn happy he's got himself a hott peice like this. I've tried to tell him that I wont wait forever but nothing seems to work. I also met this really sweet guy last week. Is it time for me to move on?

I have had this friend since high school. She is a nice person, but also a real blonde bimbo. We haven't had much contact in the last couple of years but we are still friends and know eachothers families etc. She usually contacts me when she needs my help for something or wants my advice on her messy personal life. I have always tried to be there for her through break-ups with boyfriends, her uncle's death last year and so on. I have had some disturbing things happen to me too during the years we have known eachother but never called on her for help, partly because I can normally deal with my problems myself, but also because I don't feel she cares. She hardly ever asks how I am if she calls me, and even if she does, she never listens to my answer. One day she wants to leave her bf, the next day she wants to marry him and have his child (she is 39). It tires me out just listening to her problems, let alone dealing with them. Am I in my good right to focus on my own life, family, work?

i'm a student of class ix.i'm truly in a fix for which i need some practical advises.one of my classmate has been saying that he lovs me since std ii(for 7 years).it was last year that we made true conversations.i had always been asking him to leave such feelings.one time he said that he is in lov with someone more beautiful than me.i came to know from his friend that it was his trick.similarly with the same aim he asked me sorry and so on.
now he said to my friend that he has find someone else and many other comments.on hearing this in the mind of mind i felt sad.i don't know is this what he is aiming at.i never wish to be in lov in this age.i spend much time thinking about it.i'm i slipping out ?

I recently found an old friend of mine on myspace by contacting one of our mutual friends.

The issues is... about 10 years ago we had a terrible falling out. I said and did things that I'm not proud of. She wasn't exactly an angel either about the situation.

I'm afraid that if I reconnect with her that I will end up confronting an old boyfriend. She introduced me to this guy. He was abusive and toward the end of our relationship he ...........

I can't bring myself to finish that thought. While I don't blame her for his actions I'm worried I might have to deal with him again.

Any advice?

My friend suffers from mild anxiety attacks and doesn't get out much. I invited her along on a holiday with my boyfriend and I and some of our friends as I thought it would do her good to get away, have some fun and meet some new people. She agreed and has accepted my invitation. The holiday is now booked but my friend keeps hinting about me and her "doing our own thing" and warning me that she might have attacks and will need me. I have no intention of leaving her alone, but I also want to spend time with my boyfriend and other friends. I have been looking forward to the holiday but am now worried that I have made a mistake by inviting my friend. How can I make my intentions clear without hurting her feelings?

A few weeks ago my boyfriend broke up with me because I was going to fast for him and were friends now. I know I'm suppose to be happy, but I still have fellings for the guy.

I'm at work bored...my best guy friend with whom I had an on off fling before we called it quits went to see a girl this weekend that he thinks he might like. I've been hoping he'd tell me by now but haven't said a thing, even though he asked my opinion about it a million times before he decided to go.
