There was a Staff Nurse who worked on the same ward as me at the hospital I work at. We were really good friends. We had the same interest in field sports like shooting etc.
There was a bit of an argument one Bank Holiday and the following day the whole shift was called into the Sister's Office to explain what had happened.
My friend got most of the blame and I couldn't stop it happening. She left soon after and I really really miss her.

I miss the loved ones that I lost about 2 years ago. Today is the anniversary of seeing my uncle die. I miss him a lot and, though this may sound nuts to some, know he's there by certain things that happen. I miss my mother in law who literally glowed with love and died May 7th. I miss my mentor who died October 15th from brain cancer. I miss my friend who committed suicide over what her parents said to her February 15th. I miss my grandmother who died September 9th. This is very depressing for you to read, I understand, but this is how I feel. I miss them all. They all made a very big impact on my life, and the mentor who died in October is the reason I went to college in the first place. Because of her, I graduated December 21st with honors. She pushed me to excel in everything that I did. I miss my mother in law, mainly because I was her favorite and I had never met anyone like her in my entire life. She was the most kind hearted and forgiving person I knew. She was from Pakistan, had never left, and I was there when she died of a stroke in her sleep. I vividly remember the entire family breaking down and freaking out the moment the doctor said she was gone. I miss my grandmother because I basically grew up in her house until she died when I was 7. My mother took me there very often, and most weekends and summers I lived there. She was a gentle person and her death was a shock as it happened while I was in school. My friend hung herself out of desperation and depression because her parents told her they never wanted to see her again. I think it was more of an attention thing in the first place, because of the way it happened. She used a sheet and tied it around her and her sister's upper bunkbed. She had on socks and it was a slippery floor. I think she tried to get back up but couldn't, and knowing that floor, it isn't surprising. With her, I remember the paramedics using the paddles and that her face, for being Native American, was about as white as that sheet. I don't really miss anyone alive because I see them often and appreciate them being in my life. You never know when somebody you love is going to be taken from you, so it's best to treat them as if you are never going to see them again. If they hurt you, immediately forgive them and find it in your heart to accept them for who they are. I don't mean this in the sense of using and abusing you, but in the way of how some people just naturally come off as boorish but don't mean it.
