Is this unprofessional? For example, I have a gentleman who has given me tutoring lessons, and he's always asking me if I would like to sign up for more, but I told him I was going through financail difficualty and couldn't so he offered free sessions, but I never took advantage but what was weird was the fact that he txt messaged me last night at 12:00 midnight asking me if I wanted to sign up for more tutoring sessions and I told him I didn;t know, and he was like well let me know when you have an hour free...Does anyone thinks thats sort of weird..? And what do you think his agenda might be?

What do you think it is? He could be a pushy person trying to talk you into lessons that you could pay for later. He could be interested in you personally. We meet people in all sorts of different circumstances, and perhaps he's taking a chance at a relationship with you. If you aren't interested, be direct with him. Go with your gut feelings.

I think that this might of started in a professional way, but It seems to me that this gentlemen got to like you and now he is trying really hard to hook up with you and does not know how to ask, and to me it does sound really weird texting a client at midnight to offer free tutoring is very unprofessional and WEIRD. HE IS A WEIRDO STAY AWAY!

sounds like he is really into you. I can see why you think that is weird. His agenda is probably just like any other guys. I would just sit down and talk to him about how this is making you feel. And just say to him that you want to be professional about the tutoring. He will do one of two things. Break it off with you completely because he is hurt or continue to tutor you and hopefully stay on the right track.

very unprofessional. He obviously has taken a liking towards you, and is using tutoring as his reason for calling you
