There will be a whole new intake of students at your university all feeling exactly the same as you - I bet you felt just the same when you changed schools. If they are good friends they will still be special

Once you leave school and all start work your lives will inevitably change - you will all meet new people, get new interests etc, but good friends remain just that - you will all be excited and pleased for each other and there will be endless hours of catching up when you are home. Even if you stayed at home you would not be able to see your friends as often as you do now as hopefully you would all be working

Good luck and enjoy your University days - everyone I know who was lucky enough to go say they had a brilliant time - and believe it or not, made some great friends, as well as keeping their old ones

I can't believe you are thinking of going away to university. Isn't there a good university close to your home?

I'm currently studying at Kent University in Canterbury. This is the town I've always lived in and where I also went to school. Most of my school friends are studying there too. In fact 1 in every 3 students at Kent University live at home. Of those students who are living away from home over half of them are foreign students.

I don't think you realise just how much debt you are going to get into by studying away from home. Anyway I don't want to sound like I'm lecturing. After all we all have to learn from our own mistakes!

I hear you..... I might end up leaving my hometown to go to school, that means leaving behind my family and best friends. Even though I will be able to come back from time to time everyone's so busy they won't have time to hang out.
