There's a guy with whom i've been friends for the past 2 yrs and i do trust him.But recently a prank was played on me and i was upset about it for many days as i really felt bad about it and i did not know who did it.My friends told me that 'he' did it.When i asked him, he swore that he did not even know about it.Whom should i trust..........my friends or him?.

I have a good relationship with my brother, but the one thing that really bothers me is that he teases his own son, who is 12 and overweight. While some of it might be good natured to him, i don't think my brother realizes how much he's affecting my nephew with this because just last night my nephew called me and told me that some of the remarks are hurtful but that he loves his dad and that he really doesn't want to cause conflict in the family. My nephew is afraid to say anything to him and he is kind of hesitant about me talking to my brother as well. But i love my nephew and i don't like seeing him hurt, he is a good kid. I was a little angry when my nephew first told me but i calmed down because i want to be smart about what i say and do in this situation. I'm going to take a day or so to really think about this. I'm not trying to tell my brother how to raise his kid, but i feel like i have to step in before this child is permanently damaged. Do you agree?

I am a really caring guy and there is this girl I like, We are both sophmores and have known each other a long time and we both know we like each other. She is mostly "anti touch " she was when I met her and for alittle while after. but we have grown closer and i really like her, but I think she will not like to hold hands or hug, and I respect her so I don't. even though I am a more touchy kind of guy. and I mean with everybody I always love hugs any time from most anyone.SO WHAT SHOULD i DO TO GROW CLOSTER IN OUR RELATIONSHIP. and I want mature answers, and please do not mention sex I am saving that for marraige.

Unfortunately, my husband was unable to accept the invitation owing to shiftwork commitments therefore our friends cancelled the invitation, thus leaving me "high and dry" on my birthday.

The friends are well aware of my husband being a shiftworker.

I was hurt by their actions and have tried to explain how those actions made me feel, however to no avail. Have I over-reacted?

A coworker/ Friend and I recently have grown apart. We both began our job at about the same time and became what I thought were really good friends. However I now feel as though I'm getting the brush off. This indvidual will hardly speak to me unless I make a pointed effort to speak to them. However on several occasions I'll get a call from this indvidual asking me to pick them up to go to work. I've always agreed to and this indvidual is very cordial aht this point but shortly after they become very distant and cold. Should I confront this person and let them know my feelings?

If I do confront will I be considered needy?

My best friend and I have been friends for 6years and we have always been very close. I mean no matter what the situation is we always had each others back. We have always been there for 1 another during each other's most highest point as well as the lowest and all that's in betweem. No 1 or thing could come between what we created not even family members. Now the problem is that my friend got into an ugly situation with a couple of her family members and at the particular time or moment I was'nt on her side. I felt at that time that some of the things she said was'nt cool and I let her know that. Later on when things cool down I talked to her again about the situation and let her know where I felt she was incosiderate at,I also amitted that I had a conversation about her with1of the family members.I later apolgized for my action but she admitts dat cause of my action with the family member she no longer feels the same about me. Now I'm a hater and the bond is broken.Im not a hater hel

After that possessive-thing incident
and the time when I got mad at him when he left me
After a few days...He said we should be distant...He confessed that he's not a good friend and by that, he wanted to end our friendship while it's still early so I won't be disappointed...He said he didn't leave me and he could never do that...So we ended it..And it tore me apart...
Okay, so, there were 5 of us now in a group (a few months ago, there were only the two of us) He seems to pay more attention to our other 3 friends and he rarely talks to me

When we are left alone...Silence is always surrounding us. I always feel nervous when he's around. What I don't understand is that...Sometimes he stands beside us. Sometimes I could see him at the corner of my eye looking at me. During our choir rehearsal...I sat far from him...I could see him behind me kinda feeling down. When it's time to go to the auditorium, he walked a bit close to me then he smiled and walked behind me.

I started a new job 6 months ago, and have been having a really hard time making friends at the new place. I've never had this problem before, because I'm generally extroverted and tend to be cheerful and somewhat humorous. But as time goes on and I don't get any lunch buddies (people actually turn me down or exclude me), or invited to happy hours, I'm getting increasingly desperate. At the holiday party, I was so horrified that I had mingle with these people. I, an extrovert mind you, was absolutely horrified when I entered the room. I was so desperate to make conversation with people, that I did a poor job of editing what came out of my mouth and made myself look like a major freak.

My coworkers seem nice enough, and they're around my age, from a similar background to me, educational and otherwise. But they just don't seem to like me. For example, when some of them are gathered around talking and I try to join in, they barely acknowledge my presence. they want me to go away.

He's my best friend in college, he's 21, and he's really into looking good. He got me a present from that expensive bath and body store- L'Occitane....The present I was planning on getting for him apparently hasn't been at the french market since the hurricane so now I'm tapped for ideas.....any suggestions would be helpful. PS. Please don't be counterproductive and tell me to give him sexual favors- we don't do that (anymore)- it's not really conducive to remaining friends...

Thanks!

Cancer killed him, in his early forties. He was a good friend. None of us were in any way prepared for such a loss, because we were informed that he was responding well to treatment.
As a representative of our social group, I have to meet them, and I don't know how to be civil towards them. They emailed our group that he was in remission. Doing fine. Couldn't face visitors this week, but had every hope of surviving the next 5 years. Praised the medical staff. Then they informed us that he'd died overnight, that it was only to be expected, and invited us to his funeral. It wasn't quite the usual closure.

I've known him for 2 years. Two other members have known him for 16 years. We all subscribed to the wonderful idea that he would live beyond a whole year after diagnosis. Four of us are really hurt that we couldn't text or ring him to say goodbye, at least speak to him. Are we being primitive? Were they in denial? One thanked a whole prayer group that he was OK. Right. Why lie?
