A coworker/ Friend and I recently have grown apart. We both began our job at about the same time and became what I thought were really good friends. However I now feel as though I'm getting the brush off. This indvidual will hardly speak to me unless I make a pointed effort to speak to them. However on several occasions I'll get a call from this indvidual asking me to pick them up to go to work. I've always agreed to and this indvidual is very cordial aht this point but shortly after they become very distant and cold. Should I confront this person and let them know my feelings?

If I do confront will I be considered needy?

I know alot of people like that; the only time they know you is when they need a favor. You have to let them know how you feel or they'll keep walking all over you.

This individual is DEFINETLEY using you! You shouldn't confront this person because that is childish and will cause more problems. You could get better people than that for friends. If this person calls for a ride say no! And stop trying to talk to this person, brush this person off. In a friendship, people should at least once in aawhile try try to talk to you first, not you running up to them. Dump this person!

Don't confront, but the next time you receive a call simply say, "I find it very odd that the only time you wish anything to do with me is when you need a ride to work. Perhaps you ought to ask a friend for this favour." Then hang up.

I would stop giving them a ride. No need for this person to be blowing you off. That is just plain rude. Not your problem they need a ride, especially if they are going to treat you like that afterwards
