What is the best way to deal with people who ignore you at work, one person in particular that was nice to you and you thought was your friend?

My boyfriend fishes alot. He's like a steelhead demon when season is on. He has 2 friends (one male, one female) that live about 2 hrs from us, that he goes and stays with when he is fishing (they are outdoor types also and they live together). Last year he (the friend) went to Alaska for 2 months to work (during fishing season). My boyfriend considered canceling his fishing trip, but the other friend (the female) talked him into going. He spent the weekend at their house. So, it was just him and her for the weekend. I opposed to this, but was met with "we are just friends, have been for years and will always be". So, now I hate it when she sends him emails (her and her boyfriend supposedly share one email address) or calls him. I am trying not to be jealous and trust him, but I met her and took an instant dislike (maybe it's just the jealousy). Should I consider taking time off to go with him? (I fish too) or should I try to get him to not go if I can't? Serious advice only please

I'm very paranoid and I think I am but I want to know if other people think that this could turn into anything. In school we had an assembly on myspace and the teacher asked us before if we had ever seen any people put up pictures of them drinking at parties and things like that and everybody has but I was the first to raise my hand and I kind of got the feeling afterwards that the other kids thought you shouldn't admit that, even though everyone knows that. And i got rid of my myspace a while ago and now I don't know if they might think it's because I saw their pictures, and I really don't care what they do. And I would never tell anyone, and I hope they know I mind my own business. I kind of think no one will make any mention of it, but I don't know if I should just put my myspace back up just in case so people know that I really don't care or they'll just forget about it. Honestly, I think it could have gotten overshadowed by some of the other things that happened at the assembly

when i became a freshmen in high school i didn't have ANY friends. i finally found a group that had the same interests as me. rock n roll is what moved us. after a while, they started to get into drugs and alcohol and i blindly followed along. we've been through everything together in that group. we've been through all the different drugs that are out there. and now they're getting into the 'sex' thing. and i blindly followed along too...but now, almost two years later, and a hell of a lot of fighting, i'm no longer friends with that 'crowd'. i have no idea how to start over in highschool, mainly because everybody knows of my bad reputation. and also mainly because my friends were the 'popular' group. my parents refuse to switch me out of that school...and now i'm the biggest Loser at our school. i understand what i did was wrong, but nobody thinks i'm telling the truth. i have no idea what to do and i feel so alone. all this came from...music? does anyone have any advice?

There is this guy that I like (He likes me too, but I know for a fact that I like him more than he likes me). He told me "Go say hi to your daughter for me", and I don't even have a daughter! Then he whispered something in his friend's ear. I asked his friend what did he whisper in his ear. His friend told "I don't know..I think he said Pretend to laugh because...........I dont know. I've known him a couple of years, we've only had drinks together. then I moved away nine months ago, we've kept in touch via email.
We met up last week, again just for drinks, then it hit me how much I missed him.

Do I walk away and break contact, mess things up by saying something or just ignore everything and carry on as normal?

Okay There was a boy at my school that was sort of my bastketball buddy. After each of our games we would talk about how we did and hung out. Then I started to get a crush on him. Then another boy came into the picture a couple days later. I liked him now but everyone thought I still liked my basketball buddy which got on my nerves. And after our game me and some team friends sat behind the basketball boys on the bench during thier game. And my friends kept bugging me over my basketball buddy so I blurted out " I don't like him!" Unfortanatley he over heard me and turned with a sad face then turned away. My friends told me earlier that he liked me but I didn't believe them, maybe I should have. Now he is not talking to me. What do I do and is it too late for my friend back ?

When people say "j/k" after they said something mean they usually mean it
but they say j/k so they wont hurt the person's feelings. So why bother writing the first crap in the first place?
