To get rid of a friend is not being a friend at all!

I think he should just say all the things that he doesn't like about this person, and then say they're sick of it and can't be they're friend anymore. Try not to be too mean about it!

no real way to be nice about it. try avoidance, stop answering phone calls. forget to call back... in time they should get the point.
