I'm taking a correspondence course in "Relaxation Therapist". I'd like to be one. What works for you? Aromatherapy? Music? Being near water like a lake or beach? Let me know.

Ok. I m married and last yr I had an affair that lasted for 8 mths with a child hood friends father. Well I told my husband and of course he was heart broken, And before anyone starts judging me I KNOW I DID WRONG!!!! We are now going to counsiling and he has forgiven me, And I did break this affair off as soon as I told him. Well now a male friend of ours {he knows this man and knows about my affair} keeps calling me when my husband is at work and wants me to come see him, He wants us to be more than friends as he put it FRIENDS W/ BENEFITS he knows what we are going through with counsiling. But keeps trying to get me to come visit him. He is not married anymore and has 2 grown kids. I have a husband and 3 young kids, so I have alot to lose, How do I get it across to him that I cant and dont want A FRIEND W/ BENEFITS I dont want to hurt him but my family means more to me. marriage cant handle another mistake, any advice appreciated, Please dont be mean.

my life is becoming misrable.I just need one friend,even one.I have friends that are from afar,but i need closer friends.& my only problem is shyness,I"m pretty & as far as I've been told I've got sweet caracters.so how do I become self confident & then make friends.

We thought it was lung cancer, until the PET scan said, brain cancer was more important. I didn't know. He sent me an email after he did 3 weeks of full brain radiation that can only be done once. He never told me till after, and I was the one taking him to all of the diagnosis appointments. He's 58, non-smoker, always worked, divorced, no children. He has a heart of gold. Now he says he does not want to see me because what's the point. I think he's trying to spare me and does not want to see me cry. I said that's what friends do. We stand by each other, no matter what. Shall I stay away when he says he's got hospital workers to take him back and forth? Shall I stay away when he says I can't come over? I finally just went at 9:45 a.m. driving an hour+ to his home, and called and knocked until he opened the door. So different, lost most of his hair and skin badly burned. I still smiled. Dear friends in college i had friendship with a girl. slowlly she started loving me and she proposed me also. but i dont have any emotions or feelings to love her because i just thought her just as a friend but she argues that i behaved with her closely because i love her.
Now my engagement has been over 6 months ago and i love my fiancee(ie.with whom i m engaged) so much and our marriage is fixed. Now my college friend disturbs me and blackmails me. I can understand her love for me but when i am not interested, then she should avoid me. what can i do now..

However 2 nights ago when I was with my new girlfriend she called me. I asked if I could call her back on friday (yesterday) she said fine. 3 hours later I get a series of very pissed off txt messages saying that I blow her off when I get a gf. Says I have no time for her because I'm either with a gf or I'm with other friends.

Facts: She is married. She lives 60 miles from me. She has a somewhat possessive husband who didn't even like the fact I was friends with her.

My question: Am I in the right in being able to be with my new gf for 3 days without talking much to my married ex? Or is she right in saying I'm not being true to the friendship? Or should there have never been a friendship?

A few months ago, I used to be friends with a guy in my class. After going out several times, we quickly became very close and eventually, we became best friends. One day, there was a fight between us and we became enemies. We fought for days in class and he would call me several names and make fun of me. I was hurt and it made me sad. He even went to the extent of hanging out with another girl to make me jealous. On the last day of school, we decided to stop fighting and be friendly to each other. Now, he is in Thailand for vacation and just recently, he msned me and told me he missed me. Why would he say that? Shouldn't he say he misses his other friend (the one that he hanged out with to make me jealous) ? I know he wants to be friends again and so do I but, should I ask him if he wants to best friends again? I'm afraid that he and the other girl have become very good friends. Help?

I have chose to ignore her when she come to me with problems with her boyfriend because she is very indecisive. My best friend is always the one taking the initiative! She knew that she will be hurt in the end but still wants to continue with the relationship and always ask me " Should i just give him up or continue with it?" That guy is 22 yrs old but my best friend is 6 yrs younger and he always tell my friend that he is too old for her too. I know age is not a limit but is this guy trying to break off or just spilling his thoughts?
