I have chose to ignore her when she come to me with problems with her boyfriend because she is very indecisive. My best friend is always the one taking the initiative! She knew that she will be hurt in the end but still wants to continue with the relationship and always ask me " Should i just give him up or continue with it?" That guy is 22 yrs old but my best friend is 6 yrs younger and he always tell my friend that he is too old for her too. I know age is not a limit but is this guy trying to break off or just spilling his thoughts?

Initiate does not mean sexual intercourse! my best friend takes the lead to call him and chat most of the time which seems to be awkward for a girl to do so.I just feel that its not worth it!

If he is 22 and she is 16 age is a limit! He is too old for her. Also, the first rule with men is never to chase them. If they want you, they will come to you.

Hes right tho, at the moment he is too old for her.
Probably he thinks he should be breaking it off but hes having problems doing so.
Or two or three years, would not be a problem but right now it is.

So, this 16 year old moron friend of yours is eating her heart out because this 22 year old guy isn't falling for her. Well, he seems to have an ounce of brains-- he can go to jail for messing with a child. Dumb and dumber...

I'm not sure that I understand all of your question. By "initiate", I assume you are talking about sexual activity. If that is the case, then what he is doing is illegal . . . she is only 16. They should not be together.

It's interesting - how you believe your take on the situation is the CORRECT ONE. You're a good candidate for the DEMOCRATIC PARTY.
I say... advise your friend. Tell her YOUR TAKE... and support her - regardless of which way she goes. (and if you're right, don't say "I told you so" [you seem like you'd be that type] BE there for her.)
Friends aren't about accepting them for who and what they are- Not what YOU think they SHOULD be (or do).
That's your DUTY. That should be your PLEASURE.
(Hint: if this bothers you... DON'T HAVE KIDS)

Besides being much to young for him, she's just not "getting" the fact that he's just using her until something better comes along.

well if your bests friend likes her boy friend better than you then you better say if he's more important to you than your best friend then maybe we shouldn't be friends at all
