should i give him a chance... My dad left me and my mother when i was 2 months and now he wants to be thier. He favors my step brother over me all the time. My dads whole family likes me the least. When i ask my dad for money for school he gives me $40.00 he gave my brother 200 and sent him to a private school. I go to a public school . My daughter side still defends him when it comes to my mother. But slowly i realize i hate him. Should i give him a second chance or just tell him i don't want to see him any more?

What is the best way to help my mom?

My mom has breast cancer. Her cancer was pretty advanced when she was diagnosed 3 years ago and she was on chemo until recently. My sister just told me that they want to do a liver biopsy to see if the cancer has spread to her liver and they also want her to go back on chemo.

My dad is retired and he takes care of her during the day. His health is at about 80% these days. I have a sister who lives at home and works full time and a sister who lives about 5 minutes away. They both help take care of her as best they can. I live in another state about 3 hours away. I talk to my mom almost everyday, but I want to be there for and I feel kind of helpless in a way.

She took great care of us growing up and I really want to be able to do the same for her. Any suggestions?

I am 17 and proud of the fact that I've never had a drop of liquor in my system, my mother asked me the other day when we were driving out of town if I had some of her vodka... I was in shock, I've told her about my plans, not drinking before I graduate college is one of them, but she doesn't believe me apparently. Is it so hard to believe that a teenager has NO desire to drink at all?

A few years ago my family moved to our current home to be closer to some certain land so now all my friends are at least a half hour away, I'm not aloud to go outside of my yard alone (because we don't live in the best neighborhood), my parents don't make a lot of money so we don't go out much because there isn't much money to waste, I'm homeschooled, not really involved in any clubs, and basically, to top it off, the house is a mess, most of my family enjoys watching hours upon hours of TV a day, and we don't even eat dinner together (unless it's on the couch).
So my question is: What should I do? I feel like my house is shrinking and it feels hard for my soul to breathe you know?

i'm 17 today. and i had to work all day. and when i got home, my mom was slamming things and she and my dad got into a fight and my 21 year old brother broke his cell on purpose to get a new one, so even tho it was my bday he and my dad took off to look at phones and stuff. and my mom keeps yellin at me sayin that everyone expects her to do everything. and she has been sayin that she was gonna get me tinkerbell balloons coz i had my heart set on them (don't ask) and awhile after i got home i was jus like were you able to find the balloons and she said that she didn't have the time or the money to get them. and she started yelling at me again, coz i was really disappointed about everything that has happened on my bday.and when she locked herself in her room i went through the house and tore down my birthday banner and cleared everything "birthday-ish"off the table and put them in a drawer,and the two balloons i got from work i threw outside to float away.yes, it sounds like a fit but...

im depress because i feel like they think im the bad wild child and that my brothers and sister are better than me because they think that they are virgins. i went 5 months without having sex but then i slipped up and did it with this boy i was talking to(he is 20 years old) i promised myself i wasn't going to do it but i think it was a spur of the moment thing. My son is 6 and he may have some emotional trauma from things that occured between the ages of 1 and 3 and I am trying to figure out if it would be best for me to try to educate myself on how to work through this with him or involve a therapist. I saw a therapist as a child and to me it was a little traumatic in itself. I feel lost but I only want what is best for him.
