I live with my grandmother and mom. My grandma does things like raps her hands around my shirt and pulls me across the living room and throws me into my room and locks the door. Another I knocked over a chair and she pushed me down and made me pick it up then pulled me up by my hair. Several other times she's slapped me.. Is this TOO abusive?

Please help me! My brother is a junior in high school this year, and he is having some serious problems. He's addicted to computer games, especially violent war games, and plays them non-stop. He won't read the books required for school during the summer either. I've tried many times unsuccessfully to get him to read and be active, but he just laughs me off. I don't think he does much exercise (he swims occasionally though), and he eats quite a bit of junk food. He is also VERY overconfident with his schoolwork, saying that he "flew by sophmore year with an 85", yet I know for a fact that he was failing 2 courses, and struggling with the rest. He doesn't have many friends, and one of his only friends has changed schools. Please help me, I really don't know what to do!!!

My sister in law is married to a obnoxious jerk( my brother in law)My husband and I seen some changes with his sister and my brother in law since they got married..He always complain if she spends money but it is alright for him to be spending money like it is going out of style.He never helps with the baby or helps with household chores.He comes home,flops down on the couch and if the baby is fussy;he will yell at my sister in law to take care of the baby.My husband and I believes his sister and her husband will end up in divorce in the next couple years if his attitude does not change.I am not one to stick my nose in their affairs but
My own personal opinion;She rushed into a relationship which was her 1st love, He told her she needed to lose weight in order for him to go out with her;moved in after 3 months of dating;sucked up to the family and got married not a year of dating.Is it wrong to be concerned about my sister in law?

my sisters 14 yr old got into an argument with my 10 yr old daughter and I asked what was going on, I started to say something and my sisters daughter called me an as*hole , told me to go to hell and continued to scream nasty words at me before I could even get my words out which I was going to tell her to ignore my daughter and do what she wanted (they were in the pool), I didnt get a chance, my sister didnt say a word her daughter continued to cuss me out and my child, on her way to the car, and they left , how do you think I should handle this? I feel like I should say something when my sister calls or should I call her and discuss this? my sister acted like it was ok. this is not the only time this has happened. I would never allow my children speak like that to anyone especially an adult. and especially an aunt or uncle any elder for that matter.any one for that matter!

My aunt invited me to go to canada with her and her husband and their two kids for 10 days in august. I was so excited when they asked me because I love Canada and I was really hoping they would ask me, not to mention I love my cousins. But then my mom pointed out that I would be missing drivers ed. So I will be missing three classes and a lot of driving time. I also will have to pay 60 dollars for the missed classes. Should I not go to Canada or sacrifice the 60 dollars/lost driving hours and get behind?
Any advice would be appreciated, I can't decide because I really really want to go to with them to canada-ive been waiting forever--but drivers ed is also really important and I can't do the next session.
