All behaviour is for a reason. He wants your attention. Make a deal with him:

-if you spend XXX minutes a day with him (if he can't read time, use a buzzer/parents/something he trusts);

-he will leave you alone for the rest of the day/while in your room/on phone, etc.

It will take time to teach him this new habit, give him about 21 days of 'training' and encouragement. Praise him when he succeeds, during your time together. Make it a special time, and let him know 10/then 5 minutes before it ends, to prepare him to accept it. Focus only on him during your time; no calls, friends, etc. He will feel special then.

Big sisters (have to!) love their little brothers (been there). Take the time now to forge a bond, and guide him (that is what he wants from you; love and learning). He looks up to you.

Take an hour a day (not too much to ask!), and create a bond that will last forever, through all of life's up and downs (as he has to love you too ;^)

PS Same advice applies to older brothers! Though, they should be able to read time...

I know how you feel I have a little brother two and he can be so annoying. You should just go in your room for a little while and relax or go for a walk. Also try doing stuff with him and you will find out that it is fun to hang out with your brother.

What's bothering you is not something that is wrong with your brother, but something that's inside of you that is hurting. Maybe someone found you annoying with your noises that you made. Forgive youself for doing something that annoyed somebody else, and even if your brother continues with this behavior, it won't annoy you any more.

Kandi H this is your mother! Your brother is so annoying because you never show him attention unless it's negative. Be nice to him ever once in a while and he might stop being annoying. I love you baby.....
p.s. It's 1 40 a.m. GO TO BED!!!

I had the same complaint about my sister when we were growing up, but now we are friends. i think this is just something that siblings have to go through! I see the same thing starting to happen with my kids and just sigh.

My guess is he is younger and the answer is he admires you and boys do those kind of things just to get your attention. Spend sometime with him and let him hang with you on occasion and he will get better.

Unfortunately it is common. Just tell him to go away. Lock yourself in your room or go out or something. It sounds like he need sto get a life.
