How rude is that? I feel so uncomfortable when men check me out with their wives/gf's right there. I know we all look, we notice, but than you look away, especially when your with your partner.
For the men who do this : Why would you do this with your partner RIGHT THERE?
Women whos men do this: Why on earth do you put up with it?

Is this a mama's boy? 2 years ago I kicked my boyfriend of 14 years out of the house for being an ***hole. Our car was in the shop so I called his mother to come pick him up, she did and moved him in with her. He is 41 and we have 2 kids. Well during that time he met someone else. Then we started to try and work things out. His mother called the other woman and told her, and told her son not to be with me. She is involved in his life. We took our kids to a fair and he said to me don't tell my mom, she is bitter. She lies alot he knows it but says nothing to her. She complains about me to him in front of our kids, she even says he has no backbone about him in front of the kids. He still says nothing. All the commotion of our kids and animals ( 3 dogs) makes him to nervous she says. If things get stressful he gets weary and to nervous to deal with it. She does not encourage him to come back to his family, she says go out, move on. There is no family values. Is that a mama's boy?

Me and my girlfriend are both pretty young and have been w/ eachother for 6-7 months. She was one of those girls that was all abstinence and wouldnt ever do any of that kind of stuff when I met her but shes changed. Weve been just fooling around for the past like 6 months, but she said she wanted to go all the way. Now this might just sound fruity, gay, whatever but its her first time and I want to make it like special for her and not in like the back seat of a mazda or soemthing. Any Ideas?

I don't understand it. I have always been attracted to girls all my life. It just came to me, and I was attracted to girls without trying to. So is it just our nature, or what?

We just moved together, b/c he 'has no where else to go' I told him, we can be friends, but he claimed he wanted to get back together. Now I wish i wouldn't have moved him in.

When we talk on the phone, it doesn't seem to matter if I am calm or not. At some point during the conversation she starts interrupting me in mid-sentence, jumping on me with harsh statements and argumentative words. I eventually get to the point where I have to almost match her level of intensity before she'll calm down and listen to me. It just ebbs and then flows, ebbs and then flows, ad nausem.

She is highly critical of things that I say, think or do and seldom offers a compliment to me even when deserved. You uses statements such as "You're never...","You can't do...","You're not","You're being..." etc. rather than phrases like "I understand what you're saying.","Yes, I agree." etc.

We've been having these sort of non-productive conversations since I could talk (I am now 30 years old). She treats me like a child and it aggravates me. Even now, at 30, she treats me as though I am in grade school.

What gives? Any insight(s) would be profoundly helpful.

Thanks,

Paul

I was rejected by: I like (Bobby*) and it wouldn't be fair if I went out with you while liking him. When I asked he if she blew me off "nicely" she said she was just being real. Was I rejected "nicely"? , and if I was why "nicely"?

Also: She said that if she wasn't liking him that she would go out with me. She said, " Yeah, you're a sweet guy."

Lately, I have been having horrible encounters with men. After being with them for a certain amount of time, I see the true them come out. I have met the cheap, cocky, dominant, jealous, and all were rude and disrespectful to me as a woman. But the weirdest thing is they dont start off like that, its always later in the relationship when its all revealed, which is better now than later down the road. All the relationships last no more than 4mths at a time lately, because I find all that out and move on. I would like to meet someone one who is decent and eventually marry, but by the way things are going, it just doesn't look promising. I am perplexed by the whole thing. What are your views on this issue?

It is never too late to try new things, discover new things about oneself. What is too late is how to let others know within your family that you want to do different things and basically move from point A to point B. I want to live in a new state. Get a new job. Go to school. And no one else in the family seems to want to do anything but lay low and exist. Do I move on without them or do I try to convince them to come on? I am so tired of being tired of sitting still and basically doing the same things over and over again. What is one to do? Help.

hey there
i'm making a little scrapbook for one of my old friends from bacj when we were in highschool
the trouble is i need a short, yet meaningful thing to say about friendship. something that will make you smile, or think, but nothing sad. and let's keep it simple, not too many words, not too difficult, i don't want her to think i've become a stuck-up young woman (as in b**** :D ) or something ;)

so, what do you think?
cheers

btw i am asking this here because it is the most visited category *blush*
