i am not sure whether it is because of my last boyfriend (my only boyfriend) or what. but when ever i like someone i freeze. im 16 yr old girl. and i see my two best friends in the perfect relationships and even when im with a guy who obviously likes me and i fancy the pants off. i still cannot seem to say anything in an awkward silence.

my last boyfriend was such a bleurgh. the words i usually use to describe him i cannot use on here.

i still see him but not in that way but he still is mean to me... i dont know... how do i over come my shyness. i always fanatasize on how my friends would go about situations but i cannot bring my self to do it!

I've answered this question on quite a few occasions now -- the question girls ask: "Why don't guys just tell me how they feel?" And I always give them the same answer -- "Because when we tell you, you reject us." This doesn't ALWAYS hold true; I'm aware of that. I understand that EVERYONE reacts in a slightly different way, but in a general sense of things, girls are more inclined to reject when dealing with directly-expressed feelings or proposals. MY question now is, WHY?

More and more girls are developing that "if you like me, then just tell me" lifestyle, which I'm totally fine with. What I'm NOT fine with, is the fact that every time feelings ARE expressed, I can almost guarantee rejection. Is it just me, and the girls that I ask? What is so hard about saying "yes" every once in a while?

I know I'm generalizing, but most of the girls iv'e ever been in relationships with tend to take everything u say so seriously. And I know I'm probably a jerk, but everybody can tell its a joke.

I'm not sure of the signs a guy likes you but i think he does. So here's the deal:
we've known each other for a year and are pretty good friends already. We go to the same school except guys are schooled in a separate building. But we do see each other--mainly on weekends and we talk on IM. he usually IMs me first. When we happen to pass each other w/o the ability to actually talk right then, he usually gives me a smile. He saw me in a random place he got really excited and told me about 4 times. When we do talk he occasionally moves a little bit closer, and when we're sitting he moves his leg close sometimes. At a party he seems to always find me first.
Now my other good friend, he doesn't really do this too.
Also he keeps eye contact when talking but he does that with most everyone.

My boyfriend lives in Michigan and I live in Canada but in order for him to be able to work in Canada I've been told that he has to have lived here for a year first (unless we marry).

So we're thinking that he live here and work in the US for that year. Is this okay and does anybody know where I can get more information on doing this?

I have a son, that wants to join the Army. Am so happy because the Army will help him gain what he wants in life. I dont have the enough resources to help him (monetary) be a doctor, so he thought it was a great idea to join the Army and be strong to gain his purpose. Still am afraid for him. After all I have been reading regarding the Iraq war, I honestly dont want my son to be going to Iraq. Please dont get me wrong, I love my Country.

All I can do is tell my son am proud of him and am all in for him. Is not a lie, am just a mother worry.

Ok I have a bf and we've been going out for 6 months. Judt recently he's been telling me that all these guys like me. Needless to say I'm an idiot when it comes to that kind of stuff. Anyway he told me about last year that the 2 guys that I used to hang out with liked me. I knew they did but I didn' find out until last summer. They both told me. My bf's best friend told me about my friend David over christmas break. David admitted it around christmas. My bf and his friend told me about my best friend, Eric, that he likes me. Eric told me after the day they told me. Now my bf is telling me about my friend Mike and that he likes me. So what do i do and why me?

I've been dating this girl for a couple of weeks but we haven't kissed yet.

Ladies, at the end of the night what's the best way for a guy to go about it? Just dive in and go for the lips or ask for a kiss goodnight?

If you are in a marriage that is not providing sexual satisfaction for you, but you are deeply in love with your spouse, would it be ok to go to a prostitute, male if you're a lady or female if you're a male, for sexual gratification only? There would be zero emotional connection and it would be only for physical release. Would it be ok to do such a thing?

I am asking as a result of an answer to another question I asked. This has nothing to do with me. It is just a question for married people to respond to.

your hand , gazed into your eyes and said "Why is it that every time i'm near you i lose all sense of anything but the beauty of being i feel simply from touching your hand"?
Would it be considered over the top?? i have only used this statement once, and we're still very happily married, still very much in love, and still the best of friends ( but we were friends for yrs before we were brought together as a couple ).
i 'm interested in your minds more than where your spirit resides.

Okay...so there is this guy that I like a lot. He is in most of my classes at school and I see him staring at me a lot. I am not the only one who has noticed this, some of my friends have too. Also, lately he has been talking to me a lot more and he will like pop up out of no where to be where I am. For example, I was in the hallway talking to two of my other friends (one a guy & one a girl) and all of a sudden out of no where, he came up right next to me and was like whats going on. In one class, we were allowed to study with someone else before a test and instead of going to his two closest guy friends who are in our class, he asked me to help him study. Also, we were outside once and I was really cold, so he gave me his sweatshirt. He wouldn't have given his sweatshirt to just anyone cause if certain other people were cold he would have just been like i'm sorry or wheres your sweatshirt or something like that.
Do you think these are signs that he likes me?

I have a bully who always intimidates my little sister. Yesterday, I saw her with her 4th grade and 2nd grade possie (She's a 6th grader) and she started trying to intimidate my little sister. And I stopped her and told her to get a life or maybe some new friends other than the 4th and 2nd graders she hangs out with. Now I'm afraid to go on the bus! If she says something intimidating to me, I usually make some quick and snappy comeback. But if she intimidates my sister, I get really nervous! What are some snappy comebacks to say to this girl?

My tendency is to be impulsive in a relationship. My friend is more compulsive. I want to sit back and let him have time to do whatever it is he needs to do (he hasn't asked for space by the way - only mentioned that he takes relationships slow) So far, I've been able to sit back for the most part and just let it happen - but it's driving me crazy. Any tips on how to do this without losing your mind in the process? He's really special to me and I don't want to blow it.

Been on two dates and she told me she is not seeing anyone else, only one person she likes and yes we have made out (she even told me she doesn't make out until in a relationship).

So I am thinking about telling her I like to take things slow but I don't have time to juggle.

I am trying to tell her I am not gonna rush u into a relationship but I am not gonna play u either. Does that communicate that effectively? Any suggestions are welcome.

It's so weird. She calls me, wants to hang out and all that. We hang out sometimes, but whenever I make a move on her, she just comes right back by reminding me why I was such a horrible boyfriend and all the horrible things I did to her. During the breakup I made a complete *** out of myself. I do look a lot better now, and she looks the same, and she has been dating losers. In the breakup she broke up with me and I tried to get her back in a very very embarassing way, so I don't see why she'd even want to talk to me. I took her V but I don't know. Plus, I am a completely doifferent person now. I just don't get it. We have nothing to do with eachother any longer but she forces herself back into my life 3 years later.

I been married for 6 yrs and admit have been through a lot with my husband. Finding numbers and text messages. I've done prison time with him almost 5 yrs, oh by the way I been with him 10 yrs. Sometimes I feel like he doesn't love me and is no longer attracted to me, he says that's not the case. I try not to complain because he said he can never do enough for me. I appreciate every thing that he does for me, but I feel like he put his friends and family before me and the kids. I asked him would he go to counseling he said no, he don't need anyone telling him what needs to be done in his marriage, his only counselor is God. I really don't want to give up on my marriage because I love him very much. I guess I just cant determine when enough is enough. He is a good many and another woman would love to have him. He takes care of home financially but when he is away from home I can't help but wonder if he is cheating. I am tired and feel like I can't go on anymore.
